Garden Cellar is a luxury 5-star villa ideal for those who want to live in a traditional picturesque house with all the luxurious comforts of the 21st century. Guests can enjoy the Mediterranean garden with the private heated swimming pool, as well as the hammam (steam bath) on the ground floor. All Kalamata Mediterranean Villas have Advanced Central Heating and Cooling Systems, using Heat Pumps and Fan Coils. The room temperature of the villas is, by default, maintained at 22oC in winter and 26oC in summer, in order to achieve ideal thermal comfort for our guests throughout the year. Its architecture is inspiring by the coziness of the original space, with its low ceiling and original cellar use. It has three bedrooms, one master bedroom with a king-size bed, private bathroom and hammam, one bedroom with a large king-size bed, one bedroom with two semi-double beds and an additional bathroom with a spacious shower. The kitchen, the dining room and the living room of the villa are an open space. The living room features a large sofa bed and a smart flat-screen TV with Netflix access. The kitchen has a large dining room for 8 people and is fully equipped with modern top appliances, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven and coffee maker. Guests have direct access to the private Mediterranean garden with the swimming pool with a maximum depth of 1.30 m, length 4.5m & width 3.5m, which has a constant temperature all year round at 28 oC regardless of the weather conditions prevailing in environment. The specially designed pool offers therapeutic massage and hydrotherapy with heated water for extra wellness and relaxation. The garden of the villa is equipped with a large table with comfortable chairs and an outdoor shower, while it is surrounded by two lemon trees, two orange trees, a mandarin tree, a pomegranate tree, all the aromatic plants of Taygetos, as well as two corners of cacti of the Messinian land. All bedrooms have modern desks with chairs and free Wi-Fi internet access at very high speeds of up to 100mbps. It is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Kalamata, in a walking distance from the centre, and the local beach. This neighborhood was once an endless orange and lemon grove, the City Cottage along with its neighboring houses has preserved the old homes and gardens to give a unique view of traditional hospitality in Kalamata and the south of Greece. Heating, cooling and domestic hot water are provided 100% from renewable energy sources. All beds in the villa have very comfortable American Simmons & Sealy mattresses for a unique sleeping experience. Garden Cellar is part of the City Cottage villa, and with the Green House 80 m2 (first floor) can be used as a single villa of 180 m2 which is connected with an internal staircase and has a specially soundproofed door to provide privacy and comfort to residents. The Garden Cellar is a part of Kalamata Mediterranean Suites & Villas. Guest access The guest has access to the entire house on the ground floor and to our private pool at the Mediterranean Garden. Other things to note There is an extra cost 30€ for late check in after 21:00. There is an extra cost 50€ for late check in after 00:00. Billing policy for infants is the same as the child billing policy, ie the charge is 25€/infant/day of stay. Pets are allowed only by arrangement, at an additional cost of 30€ per stay. Children up to 2 years stay at €30 per person per night when using an available baby cot. People of all ages stay for €30 per person per night when using an extra bed available.
