The living room centers around a wood-burning stove and expansive windows designed to connect you to the surrounding forest. Begin each day with coffee on the deck, surrounded by birdsong and fresh air. After exploring, unwind in the outdoor bath and sit fireside beneath the stars with a glass of wine. Restaurants, groceries, and trails are minutes away by car. Pet fee applies. The space Escape to this 1970s mid-century cedar cabin tucked into three private wooded acres in the Hudson Valley—just far enough from the city to truly unwind. Safety + children • This home is suitable for adults and kids over 12 yo. Not childproofed, it includes features such as a loft, ladder, wood-burning stove, fire pit, open forests and waterways. Guests traveling with infants or children should review the listing carefully and determine whether the property is appropriate for their family's needs. Dog Friendly 🐾 • (1) short haired, well groomed, well behaved and house-trained dog welcome (40lb max, age 2+) • Pet fee: $175per stay • Please add your dog to your reservation before arrival • The property is not fenced and is surrounded by forest terrain and wildlife, so dogs must be supervised outdoors Smart Thermostat • As the weather shifts into fall, the thermostat is unlocked and set to automatically "heat/ cool". We ask that you keep the temperature range to between 68°F and 76°F to protect the HVAC system. And when the weather is beautiful, we encourage you to turn the system off, open the windows and doors, and let the fresh forest air drift through the cabin. • Cozy living room with a wood-burning stove and large windows overlooking the forest. Bring your slippers and get cozy! Nearby Minutes from Mohonk Preserve, the Gunks, Spring Farm Trail, Stone Ridge, High Falls, and Rosendale for hiking, climbing, dining, and exploring. Good to Know • Nearby construction: A neighboring property is currently being developed, and guests may occasionally hear construction activity during the day. The timing and extent of work can vary. • The bedroom is a private room with an open entrance rather than a traditional door. This intentional design choice maintains the cabin’s open, connected feeling. • There is a washing machine available for guest use, but we do not have a dryer. • Airbnb may limit booking options when infants are included due to the home’s suitability considerations, including the loft lounge area and other safety considerations. • This property has a high occupancy rate, so we cannot always accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs. Thank you for your understanding. • The driveway is steep with an S-curve; AWD is recommended during winter weather. • This beloved retreat has hosted guests for years and is now independently listed on Airbnb with the support of our longtime Superhost, Tonya. • The owners live in Brooklyn and enjoy staying at the cabin. Guest access You will have access to the whole cabin and with the exception of a locked room used for housekeeping needs. Other things to note Having a car while in the area is advisable. Check in is anytime after 4pm and check out is before 11 am. The string lights on the deck are on a timer and come on a sunset and turn off at 11 pm automatically. Enjoy!
