You will be staying in a former forge from + -1870 in a beautiful, historical and very quiet area. This "Smidse" has been converted into a modern, cozy, very complete and spacious home. Extremely suitable as a base for various natural or sporting excursions, or as your "home away from home" when you temporarily need a 2nd home. Outside is a modest terrace overlooking an old, uninhabited presbytery. Wonderfully quiet! Guest access It is a complete house adjacent to our own house. You will have complete privacy and a private entrance. Other things to note We, Thijs and Sandra, receive many bookings from guests who are looking for a beautiful environment to stay and unwind. This region offers many natural environments where you can enjoy hiking or biking without having to regularly pass others, these are described further on. Some tips in this period are the nature reserve across the street, the lake De Bijland is nearby with a few kilometers of natural beach and all the privacy, walking along rivers and floodplains, cycling through the Veluwe, etc. So you can enjoy with confidence. It is also centrally located, beautiful cities: Arnhem (half an hour), Nijmegen (50 min), Oberhausen (45 min), Utrecht (1 hour), Den Bosch (1 hour), Amsterdam (1.5 hours). There is also plenty to do in this area for stays with children.
