Garfield Bay is peaceful and scenic in winter, offering incredible services year-round. If you're looking for an adventure, Silverwood Theme Park is only about 33 miles away and offers more than 65 rides and a water park, giving you a multitude of things to do while you're there! Garfield Bay Boat launch and park is just a block away. Need Groceries? There is a small local grocery store Odie's Bayside Grocery 1/2 mile away. You can enjoy barbecuing on the deck on warm evenings with beautiful views of the lake and the sound of the creek nearby. There is a propane firepit table perfect for making s'mores for dessert or sitting around it singing and strumming a guitar with family and friends. If you feel more adventurous, you can easily access the boat launch, swimming, skiing, and tubing. Fortunately, if you're not in the mood to cook, there's a nearby restaurant. However, if you want to show off your culinary skills, this adorable home has a well-appointed kitchen with all the essentials for preparing memorable meals for the gang. Inside, an excellent open floor plan will be waiting for you. The sunny living area features cathedral ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable sofas, and a TV. The home's first floor offers a welcoming common space with a sofa and a washer/dryer. The main living area is on the second floor, along with the main bedroom with an en suite full bathroom with a standalone shower and double vanity. The loft area on the third level offers a secluded sleeping area with a large bed. Looking for a peaceful way to unplug for a weekend or longer? This is the place! THINGS TO KNOW Phone service is very limited in this area. Guest access You'll enter through the front lockbox, located on the back side of the house on the piece of driftwood with the address number. Enter your access code - each digit must be entered within 10 seconds. Wait for the ascending tone and for the lock button to flash green, then turn the knob away from the door frame within 5 seconds to unlock. There's also a garage keypad on the lake side of the home if you prefer that entry point. Other things to note The home has a gas fireplace, though it can be tricky to operate - you're welcome to use it, but we don't recommend it if you're not comfortable with the controls.
