You will be our only guests in this little paradise: a prestigious seaside retreat, 100 m from the beach. Enjoy the sea view from each and every corner, cool off in the infinity sea-view pool, all for you. sourrounded by a Mediterranean garden: We will take care of all the rest. The host, respectuful & delicate of guests' privacy, living downstairs, keeps everything neat and tidy, with many tips for breakfast, restaurants, boat trips, places to visit for an unforgettable holiday dream. The space It will be like a resort, a beautiful retreat, with the privacy, care and plentiness of spaces no hotel suite can offer. All for you with the host dedicated to you. This is a large, typical Sardinian villa that has just been restored. You will find a large Mediterranean garden measuring 1,300 square metres, a swimming pool, a solarium, ample indoor parking, and it is just 100 metres from the shoreline, so you can be on the beach in a minute. Enjoy the freedom and privacy of a villa just a stone's throw from the beach, with all the comforts and care of a unique residence. You will be our only guests (the more of you yhe cheaper it is). The owners, who live on the ground floor, will take care of everything themselves. They do not use the swimming pool or solarium, so you will feel as if they were yours alone. You will have exclusive use of the entire upper floor (100 m²), with unrivalled sea views from the covered terrace adjoining the suite (20 m²) with kitchen, and from the suite itself (20 m²) and two other double bedrooms, one of which is a quadruple, a large hallway (with sea view) and a master bathroom. You will also have access to all the other common areas (garden, porches, etc.) from which you can admire the Gulf of Palmas. The owners personally carried out the restoration of this villa, respecting its origins, through green building (organic) and feng shui. The latter was carried out under the guidance of architect Silvia Archetti Voltolini, owner of the “La Porta del Sole” studio in Brescia*. The furniture is made of solid wood, natural wood without any treatment, and the three double beds do not contain a single screw or nail. *The Feng Shui consultancy has taken into account the house's guidelines for the use of materials and colours and has provided guidance on the correct arrangement of furniture. The beds were arranged so that they were not on Hartmann or Curry knots according to the principles of geobiology. Guest access The owners themselves will welcome you and take care of your stay, so you don't have to do anything but relax. You can park inside the property. From every point the sea with its beautiful view will lull you. The large and varied spaces of this villa will also allow you to find your own work station if you need it. The centre and south-west of Sardinia are an ancient and wild land, where ancient customs and traditions still live on, just to be discovered, with bays and caves that are uncrowded, not to say deserted, even in high season. Maladroxia is 9 km from the town of Sant'Antioco. During the months of July and August there is a bus service, with numerous runs, that connects Maladroxia, S.Antioco and other beaches. In Maladroxia there are restaurants, bars and kiosks on the beach, while shops, supermarkets, museums, library and services can be found in the town of S.Antioco. In the market square of S.Antioco there are two charging stations for electric cars. If you arrive by plane, there are many car rentals at the airport, or you can take the train (the station is at the airport) that will take you to Carbonia (about an hour) and from there, by bus or taxi, to S.Antioco (30 minutes), or Cagliari (5 minutes), where you will find more car rentals. In Sant'Antioco and in the other village on the island (Calasetta) there are several bicycle, moped and motorbike rental shops. From Cagliari (Elmas airport) to Maladroxia is about one hour to one hour and thirty minutes by car. If you are sporty, (we did it several times by bicycle with the children), in Spring time and Fall, you can go from S.Antioco to Maladroxia and vice versa also by bicycle or on foot, avoiding the sunniest hours. There are also private individuals who offer a shared taxi service to Cagliari. Other things to note One of the most beautyful location of the island...guests of this villa have been the most outstanding italian singer Lucio Battisti and the film director Sergio Leone. The villa, a real villa, does not need air conditioning (which is available, on request, with the ultimate GE Appliances A+++ Nano-Water air conditioner in each bedroom), except on extremely hot days. Its thick walls, its architecture, its always ventilated location, have made it superfluous: no one, although it has belonged to wealthy people in the past, has ever felt the need to install it.
