The Guest House at Historic Mont Calm
Mont Calm is a Historic Landmark on the National Register, built by Governor David Campbell in 1827. The guesthouse sits on a quiet 12 acres in the center of Abingdon. The driveway meets the Virginia Creeper Trail head and all of Downtown is a short walk! Mont Calm is truly a unique property with an abundance of History. Many characters of note have graced this property over the years including a president. Since 1827 The Town of Abingdon has grown up around it, but with a wooded perimeter on 12 acres you would never know it. When you pull onto the property at Mont Calm the guesthouse has a gravel driveway that circles around to the house. If you face the front of the main house, the guest house is on the left. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay perfect. We are happy to help in any way we can. Suggestions on places to go, things to do, where to eat, etc. The Guest House at Mont Calm is located in the center of Abingdon, Virginia. You will be walking distance from The Virginia Creeper Trail, Grocery Store, Restaurants, Banking, UPS Store, and all of Downtown Abingdon Walk, Ride a bike, or Drive. Abingdon is small and we like it that way:)
