Apraos Beachfront Studio is the most unique and charming property of Corfu. Once a fishermen's refuge right on the sandy beach of Apraos/Kalamaki, this stone-built house has now been carefully renovated into a spectacular holiday home sleeping up to 2 guests. It retains its Rustic charm and provides direct access to the sea, offering the holiday experience of a lifetime. The space The beach of Apraos, on your doorstep, is the only sandy beach of the sought after north-east coast of Corfu and is a truly idyllic setting. Apraos offers a cluster of excellent restaurants and the lively Kassiopi is just 5 min drive away. This detached cottage is open plan and offers a double bed (which can be made into twins), a compact kitchenette, a sea-facing dining area and a tiny yet functional bathroom with shower. Smart TV, wi-fi internet connection and air-conditioning are available for the guests free of charge. The views from the house are spectacular, and the gentle sound of the waves make for an unbelievably restful night. Outside, private terraces and direct access to the sandy beach of Apraos are an incredible bonus. Guests can dine right on the water's edge, use the barbecue to prepare a delicious meal, or relax on the comfortable sunbeds whilst watching the boats passing by: Apraos Beachfront Studio will not disappoint! Parking space is also available for those guests traveling by car. FOR LARGER PARTIES: Apraos Studio can be rented together with the nearby Apraos House, which sleeps up to 6 guests. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the rental price quoted includes air-conditioning, wi-fi internet, maid service twice a week, change of linen and hand/bath towels twice a week. Local Stay Tax (payable locally): euros 0.5 per whole villa per night. A refundable security deposit for damages (euros 300) is required on arrival and refunded at the end of the stay. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
