La Terrasse du Loir gîte 3 km from La Flèche Zoo

Welcome to La Terrasse du Loir, a 115 m² cottage open since 2021, ideally located by the Loir and about 3 km from the La Flèche Zoo. The property can accommodate up to 12 people: 10 people in the four bedrooms and two additional beds in the living room. The gite, the swimming pool, and all outside areas are exclusively reserved for guests. You do not share the pool with the owners or with other vacationers. The entire property is not overlooked. The space Fully furnished and carefully decorated, the cottage has everything you need for a pleasant stay with family or friends. On the ground floor Access is from the outside. There you will find: • a bathroom with shower and toilet; • a laundry room. Upstairs • a large living room; • a fully equipped open kitchen; • a dining area; • a living room with two sofa beds; • a second bathroom with shower and double sink; • Two bedrooms with a 140 cm bed; • two bedrooms with a 140 cm bed and a 90 cm bed on the mezzanine; • a dressing room shared by the four bedrooms. You will also a large 24 m² terrace overlooking the river. The private pool: Installed in 2022, the swimming pool measures 7.50 × 4 meters and is heated to 29°C. It will be heated during the following periods: • In 2026: from Friday, March 27 to Tuesday, November 10, inclusive. • In 2027: from Friday, March 26 to Monday, November 1, inclusive. The pool is protected by an electric curtain and a large 10.40 × 6.20 meter telescopic enclosure, reaching 1.80 m at its highest point. The shelter can be fully or partially open. When the weather is mixed, it allows you to enjoy the pool while remaining in a pleasant and sheltered atmosphere. Larger than the swimming pool, it offers enough space to set up deckchairs or chairs inside and comfortably enjoy this covered space by the water. The outdoors and leisure The property is fully secured by a rigid fence. A gate provides direct access to Le Loir. Parking is inside the property. Next to the pool, a furnished terrace with a beautiful pergola allows you to eat and fully enjoy the outdoors. Children can also have fun in a tree house with a play platform. Many amenities are at your disposal: • a swing; • a dartboard; • a table tennis table; • a shuffleboard game; • Pétanque balls; • a Mölkky game. Fishing enthusiasts can take advantage of our pontoon located on the banks of the Loir. Around US • La Flèche Zoo: about 3 km • Moulin de la Bruère: 5-minute walk • Lac de la Monnerie: 10-minute walk • Château du Lude: 15-minute drive • Le Mans, Angers and Saumur: about 40 minutes by car From the Moulin de la Bruère, a footbridge allows you to cross the Loir and reach the lakes of La Flèche. Lake Monnerie is ideal for swimming, fishing, water activities, picnics or a relaxing moment on its sandy beach. The Loir Valley discovery routes are also accessible in the immediate vicinity of the cottage. Things to know before you book Our cottage is designed for friendly stays with family or friends. Parties, birthdays, and evenings that could disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood are not allowed, however. The accommodation is in a pleasant and peaceful environment, but it is not located in a completely isolated place. No pets allowed. Thank you for your understanding.
