Chesapeake Bay View The space Chesapeake Bay View will be available from Memorial Day through September. Escape To The Beautiful Virginia Eastern Shore And The Chesapeake Bay View Our home is one of the three “grand old ladies” that were built across from the beach facing directly west into the sunset. Built in 1927 for a wealthy Cape Charles merchant, extensive renovations have been made to restore its grand character and create one of the most comfortable, as well as relaxing family rentals on the Virginia eastern shore. Enjoy a walk on the extensive sandy beach, lounge in the sun, kayak and paddle board, or build a sandcastle! Every evening you can view the fantastic sunset from the relaxing balcony! You may decide to "eat in" under the lights on the back patio or stroll to one of our fine restaurants. Fine shops, galleries, dining and entertainment are all within walking distance.
