When asked if we are close to downtown, our honest answer is, "Thankfully, no." Our house is a refuge for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and connect with the true magic of Patagonia: the forest, peace, and breathtaking scenery of Circuito Chico. That being said, you're not isolated. Downtown Bariloche is about a 30-minute drive in normal traffic. There are options such as Uber and a bus line that stops a few meters from the house. However, and this is our most important recommendation for you to make the most of your trip: it is essential to have a vehicle (your own or a rental). Bariloche and its surroundings are to be explored freely. Having a car will allow you to move at your own pace, discover hidden beaches, reach the beginning of the trails and enjoy all the region's gastronomic offerings without depending on schedules or transportation availability.
