This private island vacation rental is located an hour East of San Fransisco in the California Delta close to Discovery Bay. It offers an array of cabins totaling 7 bedrooms, 8 baths, and a central lodge with a large kitchen. This is the ideal place for boating, fishing, water sports, swimming, campfires, or exploring the 1.3 mile private island loop. This is an Island, and is not directly accessible by car. If you do not have a boat there are many boat rental companies in the area. The most popular for our guests is CB rentals in Discovery Bay. They have a collection of platform boats that are great for groups, and there the rates are very reasonable. Many of our guests have said renting from them was a great experience! There are around 60 goats & sheep, on the island that help control the vegetation. They are friendly & adorable, and may come up to you to say ‘HI’. If you have a dog, you need to be carful and keep them in control around the goats.
