Richmond is the best of SE Portland, walkable to Hawthorne and bikeable to downtown. The space Lower 2 bedroom/1bath unit in large Victorian farmhouse with separate rear entrance with central heat and AC. Pacific Northwest vibe mid century decor. Equipped with HD projector TV, large faux leather couch, faux plants, stocked desk & 2 boutique-hotel inspired beds. Bring foodie leftovers home and feast at the bar while enjoying a cozy movie night with great sound and hot tea. Enjoy our supersize zen backyard (hammock in summer!) and BBQ. Walkability is 10/10. This popular guest home is located on the lower level of property and will not have access to the upper level porch. Off street parking. Guest access Two parking spots in driveway are reserved for you. Access property with unique code. Best explored by foot or e-bike. Please drive cautiously due to density of bikers and neighbors. There is a Biketown kiosk on 34th and Division accessible via the mobile app (now owned by Lyft). Nearly every restaurant can be delivered here via your favorite app. Other things to note Since it's an attached guest home we do not accept booking requests if the guest has 0 reviews as a policy, so if you have someone else in your party with reviews please instant book. Location is insanely great. 5 minute bike ride to Hawthorne! Since the guest home is attached to the hosts home, there is occasional home-related sounds. We get up around 7am and are in bed by 10 am. Great WiFi. Bring your own subscription streaming service - we have Chromecast connected to our surround sound. You can stream YouTube too, or music. It’s a historic house from 1904 so bring a hoodie and slippers- I provide Pendelton blankets on both beds. There are many grocery stories (New Seasons, Natural Grocery, Fred Meyer and Safeway). We love our neighbors so please be respectful as AirBNB guests are now part of the vibrant community here! This is not the place to cook a complicated gourmet meal. It’s best to do pickup or delivery, or leftovers, or a simple meal. While we stock some kitchen supplies, why cook when you have the best restaurants in Portland around the corner? We have a First Aid kit and the bedroom windows are good sized egress encased windows for safety compliance. Bedroom smoke detectors are interconnected and also interconnected with the main property for safety and permit compliance. Same goes for carbon monoxide detectors. We will try our best to accommodate early or late checkins, depending on scheduling and other factors. Extra pullout bed available with advance notice. We are regularly booked during peak times so cannot usually accommodate early or late checkins then however with advance notice we will do our best if you have special requests and can usually store your luggage if your flight leaves late.
