Guest access The pool and palapa are the perfect place to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. As there are only 12 units in Encanto, you will most likely enjoy the pool and palapa to yourself. Upon arrival you will find the basic amenities: water, oil, coffee, salt, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Extras are not included, feel free to buy your own if you need more. Other things to note ✹This modern condominium is located a few meters from the commercial area of Aldea Zama, where you will find stores, bars and restaurants. ✹Tulum, the location of this condominium, is a captivating destination that invites exploration of its rich Mayan heritage, with ancient ruins to discover. The surrounding jungle offers opportunities for immersive experiences, while the pristine Caribbean Sea provides the perfect setting for swimming and relaxation. However, as Tulum is currently undergoing significant development and experiencing steady growth in real estate, it's important to note that there may be construction work taking place in the area. ✹In terms of basic services and amenities, Tulum is still a small town with infrastructure that was not originally designed to accommodate such high demand (Nonetheless, the government is actively working on improving these services). This means that essential services like electricity, water, and internet may experience intermittent interruptions due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or maintenance work carried out by service providers. All this is completely out of our control, but we will do our best to help you if such situations occur during your stay. ✹The maintenance team diligently cleans and maintains the pool on a regular basis. However, the condition of the pool water can vary due to various factors, such as weather conditions, natural debris (especially for outdoor pools), bird passage, etc. Please contact us with any concerns. ✹Overall, this modern condominium offers a comfortable and secure residential experience in the Aldea Zama area of Tulum, with convenient access to various amenities nearby. While Tulum is a vibrant and rapidly developing town, it's important to keep in mind the potential for construction work and occasional interruptions in basic services. Nonetheless, Tulum's natural and cultural attractions make it a truly enchanting destination worth exploring. ✹Quintana Roo is located in an area of the world where hurricanes can affect us. We recommend obtaining Travel Insurance with full coverage in case your stay must be cancelled for this reason or any other situation related to this matter. ✹We strive to keep our homes in excellent condition to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. However, due to frequent use by different guests, occasional amenity failures may occur. These situations are considered normal and are not indicative of negligence. We will quickly assess the situation and take the necessary steps to address your concern promptly. ✹ HUMID WEATHER In the Mexican Caribbean, where humidity and tropical weather are common, you may notice a musty smell, both indoors and outdoors. This may be unfamiliar to those not accustomed to this climate, but it is completely normal. Our homes are well ventilated, and the use of air conditioning can help cool the environment. Keep these factors in mind when visiting the Riviera Maya: - High Humidity: The proximity of this region to bodies of water such as the Caribbean Sea results in consistently high humidity levels. During the 9-month rainy season, which runs from March through November, you can expect muggy and oppressive conditions. - Rainforests: Dense jungle vegetation maintains high humidity. - Subway Rivers: The presence of subway rivers adds humidity to the air and soil. - House Construction: Many buildings in Tulum use Chuukum, an ancient stucco technique that, due to the humid climate, changes color naturally over time.
