Let’s take a look around: LIVING/DINING AREA Leather reclining chairs and a queen-size sofa sleeper ensure all guests get somewhere to kick back and rest those muscles made weary from days out hiking and biking in the beautiful local area. You may even find time to grab some TV. If so, there’s a 58-inch flat-screen awaiting here that’ll hook you right up with Cable & Roku. So there’s no need to miss out on a thing just because you’re away from home. And mention must go to the cozy bay window seat that gives guests an ideal spot to escape with a book and enjoy the natural light that floods in. KITCHEN Once you check out the list of local restaurants in the area, you may find you don’t need to use the kitchen much for mealtimes. But for those times you do decide to rustle up your own breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or supper, you’ve got a modern kitchen to call on. Fridge/freezer, stovetop, oven, they’re all here. So too a Keurig coffee maker and—something you don’t find in every house on Airbnb—an amazing array of spices you’re welcome to add to any meals you prepare, should you wish. All that hiking or biking you’re likely to get up to can make clothes a little dirty. But not to worry. There’s a washer/dryer in the farmhouse, so if your favorite top gets a little messy, you can have it cleaned and dried and ready to wear again during your stay. BEDROOMS 2 & 3/office Fresh air sure makes you sleepy, and when those eyelids start weighing you down, both bedrooms give you somewhere comfy to recharge those batteries and do it all again tomorrow. Expect to find best quality bedsheets and bedding with foam toppers so you can drift off into a relaxing sleep and wake raring to go the next day. BATHROOM Ever freshened up in a hand-laid stone shower with a high-grade shower head and a fireplace! You will if you stay here. Your host will ensure towels and toiletries await, so all guests can get ready to go out in glorious comfort. IN-HOUSE FACILITIES Fast wifi and a workstation will help you can stay in touch with clients and colleagues if you’re here to work, and with friends and family back home if not. There’ll be some office supplies too and, to make sure everyone gets some time to have fun away from screens, there are board games to play. PUPS WELCOME Well, this is a farmhouse! You’d expect us to be pup-friendly, and we truly are. So bring your pups, pooches, whatever you call them, so they can be part of the fun too! Sorry NO CATS OUTDOORS: Stay here for big beautiful trees, a lush lawn, and your own large, fenced back yard, handy if you have children, pets, or both as it offers a secure place to play. There’s also a patio/deck in the front yard which overlooks the entertainment center in downtown Fruita. Why not gather around the fire pit in the evenings and make plans for tomorrow? PARKING There’s street parking in front of the cottage and more parking behind the cottage through a fenced gate. There are also bike storage in the laundry room. Guest access Keypad code to the front door will be provided within 24 hours of arrival Other things to note Pups: Please ensure your pups are not left unattended in the cottage unless kenneled. Pups are not to be on furniture or beds. You will find a dog wash hose on the Southside of the cottage and rags-towels for drying your pup in the Laundry cabinet Marked “Rags”.
