The space The Porciano Castle sits on a hill overlooking the Casentino Valley -- rolling hills dotted with sheep and olive trees-- overlooking the village of Porciano. One hour from Florence, It is the perfect place to live an authentic Tuscan experience. The entire Castle will be yours and comes with all the amenities you need -- a full kitchen, three full bathrooms and 1 half, and a private roof with stunning panoramic views. There is a museum on the first two floors that is open on Sundays from May to October, always with an employee present for tours. The upper three floors and roof are private and accessible only for you. Our property manager is available for concierge services to help you make the most of your time in this hidden gem of Tuscany. There is also a small Tuscan restaurant situated outside the garden of the Castle for those mornings when you don't want to make your own breakfast or prefer to walk to lunch and dinner. There are 7 cottages in the village of Porciano, a stone's throw from the Castle, that are available for rent, too. Your group can be a small intimate one or a larger group that takes over the Castle and the village! The property is managed by both a local family and an American family.
