Attached to our house is a studio apt. with a private patio and street entrance. Situated in the south end it's about an eight minute walk to town which means no town noise. Our air conditioned studio is clean, secure, a little funky, very private patio, garden, private entrance to the street, no town noise, easy 8 minute walk to town on cobble stone streets, never run out of water, reliable and strong wifi. Well I could go on and on, it's a great place in a great town..... The studio guests have a private patio and private entrance to the street and do not share any space with the guests in the house. We do allow access to a pool which is situated at our casitas across the street. This pool is shared with other guests. We maintain good communication with guests but give them their space. With self-check-in and our welcome guides, most questions should be answered. Our property manager, Tony, lives close by and will be available for anything guests may need. Our house is located in the south end of town which has a mix of local Mexican houses along with non Mexican. There are roosters, dogs, children, etc. etc. as most Mexican neighbourhoods have. Living here gives us the local flavour which is why we like to travel. It is about an eight minute walk to town and a six minute walk to Muertos Beach. Our town has many great restaurants, loads of shops and cafes, two main beaches, a popular surf break and all the buildings are low rise, three levels max. It is a funky, happy little oceanfront town with very friendly residents. Everywhere in Sayulita is in easy walking distance from our house. There is on street parking if you have a car and we can hook you up to an electrical outlet if you rent a golf cart, but neither of these are really necessary. There are always taxis available at the plaza for exploring some of the near by towns. DISCLAIMERS - We think it is important to communicate upfront the realities of coming to stay in a tropical part of Mexico. The below listed items could happen during your stay, although are usually very rare. Some are specific to Casa Aurora while others are more general for this part of Mexico. - Please note from Feb - August 2024 there will be construction going on at the property next store. Noise could be heard from 8AM to 430PM. - To get to the Casa Aurora - Studio from town you must walk up a hill which is at a 40 degree incline and is 60m long. - The address listed on airbnb will not bring you to the correct location in maps. Please use the links provided in direct messages and direction details of the booking. - The power could go out during your stay, when the power goes out we also loose water pressure. - We could run out of water, if this happens we order more water as soon as possible to fill our tenacos. - The internet could go out due to local issues with the Internet Service Provider. If internet is crucial for you we suggest bringing a hotpsot. (full internet outages are rare) - We are not a hotel. - The studio has one bathroom and it is open air to the main room. It is private, however, noise from the bathroom will be easily heard from the bedroom. - As a bonus, we do offer access to our pool across the street. You must walk across the street to access this pool and it is not heated. - There may be mosquitos at night. - You may encounter scorpions. (usually by leaving clothes or pillows on the floor for long periods) - You may encounter ants inside the Studio. (You could wake up one morning and find a trail of ants going through the kitchen for example) - You may encounter lizards and geckoes inside or outside the Studio. - You could be awoken in the morning by the sound of a rooster call or dogs barking. - You could hear construction noises as Sayulita has many new buildings going up. - You will likely encounter stray dogs and cats. - Mexico can be a very dusty place, dust can build up quickly. - It's possible that a neighboring house has a party at night and could keep you awake. - If you book your stay during a global pandemic and then cannot make it for your booking, we are not able to amend our cancellation policy. We hope that providing these disclaimers will help our guests understand some of the issues they could face while staying in Sayulita. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out!
