Description
A Cancela House is a relaxing rural house in the countryside of the municipality of Arouca, famous for the Paiva walkways, the suspended bridge 516 and the river ativitives in river Paiva. In a small village in the north of the municipality, close to the Douro river, only 45 minutes from Porto. In a very peaceful place, near a small stream, the house will offer all the peace and calm to relax and to feel reconnected with nature. Enjoy the swimming pool and the outdoor beds beneath the vineyard! The space The house has a fantastic outside area with swimming pool, barbecue, patio, 2 relaxing outside beds (one in the patio and one beneath the vineyards), a hammock and sunbeds, and view to the valley and the mountains surrounding the village. In the main house there are 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed the other a familiar one with a double bed and 2 single beds) . The family bedroom has a bathroom ensuite. There is also a toilet in the main house. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a living room with fireplace too. In the attached areas, there is a big living and tv room with a chess table and games for kids to play, such as a mini pool table (and the adults too!). THe 2nd bathroom is in another attached area with 2 other bedrooms. Guest access The house is rented as a whole, so you will be the only guests there and use the space in exclusivity. The swinming pool and the outside beds are only available from june to september . Other things to note The village is a very small one, it doesn't even have a coffeeshop or a grocery. The closest is at 15 minutes driving. It is essential to have a car if you want to know the surrounding area or to go shopping. Registration Details 111099/AL
