This private, newly renovated 2-bedroom unit is conveniently located off of 295 to provide extremely easy commuter access to Baltimore and DC. Close proximity to government agencies such as the FDA, USDA. NARA, NOAA, and NASA Goddard Space Center make this a convenient location for government and business travelers. 3 miles to University of Maryland, 1.5 miles to Whole Foods and Target. Downtown Riverdale and Hyattsville are minutes away, which have plenty of amazing restaurants and activities. The space The guest suite is completely private with a separate entrance in the front of the house. This space has been recently renovated to include large bedroom windows that allow ample light, as well as an updated bathroom. The kitchenette includes a microwave, small refrigerator, Keurig (including coffee, cream, & sugar), filtered water, toaster, and silverware. The living room includes a brand new, cozy sleeper sofa - perfect for relaxing and watching movies! Our high-speed internet is perfect for working remotely or watching TV. All utilities are included, plus high-speed internet. There is plenty of free street parking available as well. Please note that this is a basement-level unit and it tends to be a few degrees cooler than the rest of the house. We do have a portable space heater provided for our guests. We recommend using a car or ride share service while staying with us, as the closest public transportation is about a 15 minute walk away. Guest access Guests have access to the entire guest suite with private entrance. Laundry is available for long-term guests (7+ days) by request. Other things to note In addition to the two bedrooms, the sofa pulls out to a full-sized bed to accommodate up to 5 guests total. Please note that the host resides in the upper-level of the house with two super friendly pups and you may occasionally hear a bark at the mailman.
