Small but sweet!! Farah's Corner is located in Plesio, a small town in the hills of Menaggio. Perfect for 2 but also has a sofa bed so can accommodate up to 4. The space Heated swimming pool just steps away, an amazing view from the pool...literally to die for! If its budget and hiking you are after then look no more! Farah's Corner is a small one bedroom garden flat, on the lower part of the Balcone di Menaggio Condo, a small patio allows space enough for 2 chairs to be set out, to enjoy a book, a coffee or a glass of wine! Only steps away is the shared and heated swimming pool, large and with lots of deck space. The most amazing view a pool could have! Viewes over Menaggio and the full lake are at your feet. The same view from the top of the Monte Grona behind Plesio but with out the hike up! This one bedroom ftat offers all you could need for a Lake Como base, fully equipped, stylishly furnished and very comfortable. Also very cool in the hot summer months. The large open plan living, dining, kitchen offers a large kitchen with everything needed to cook your meals or even just to prepare breakfast! The comfortable sofa and arm chair offer the perfect relaxing spot to come home to after a long day of hiking or just discovering the lake. To the back of the flat is the double bedroom bedroom with large Queen size bed. The bathroom with shower is right next door. The location of Farah's Corner is perfect for who wants to be close to the local towns (5km drive away) on the lake but at the end of the day prefers to be in total tranquillity with a relaxing pool and perfect views. The swimming pool is open from 1st June to 30th September. Plesio, a sleepy mountain town that does re populate in the summer months with city slickers who come back to their roots in the summer. It offers a very well stocked grocery shop with a bit of everything and fantastic bread and pastries. A cafe next door to the grocery shop that makes fantastic ice cream and of course cappuccinos' with a view! Just down the road a great, and new, pizzeria, fun place, full of locals but is also attracting people from nearby towns too as the pizza is so good!! Guest access You have full access to the apartment, only for your private use and use of the shared swimming pool from June to September Other things to note ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES Check in time is between 3 to 6pm. It is important that you inform us of your estimated time of arrival a few days in advance by email or via Air BnB message so we can arrange meet and greet services. We reserve the right to charge a €50 surcharge to cover late arrival costs, which will be deducted from your security deposit. Should you wish to arrive earlier than 3pm and your property is ready, we will be more than happy to conduct an earlier check in. Check out is prior to 10am. Please contact us if you require a later check out than 10am and we will do our very best to accommodate you. PASSPORT REGISTRATION We will request passports of everyone in your group on arrival for passport registration, this is for the local police and tourist stats for the Regione Lombardia. TOURIST TAX Please keep in mind that the municipality of Plesio charges a daily tourist tax of €1 per person (children below 14 yrs of age are exempt) for the first 10 days of your stay. This amount will be collected in CASH by LoveComo at check in. SERVICE CHARGE The service charge of €100 and includes: linen, towels and final clean. HEATING Is not included in the winter price, please remember to turn it down when you aren't in, firewood is not included but can be obtained easily at the local supermarkets.
