Sharp Edge, Lake District, Dog Friendly

Sharp Edge (sleeps 2) is a luxury first floor apartment with stunning views over the surrounding fells from every room. You can even lie in the bath and savour the delights of Sharp Edge on Blencathra. Furnished to a high standard, the apartment sleeps two people in an en-suite room. There is a comfortable living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen. All linen and towels (one bath towel and one hand towel per person) are provided. The space Sharp Edge sleeps two people - either in a Super King bed or twin beds - please state at time of booking if you'd like the bed made up as a twin. The property is located in a large, 2.5 acre garden with garden furniture strategically placed to benefit from the superb 360 degree views. Guests have shared use of a laundry room (two coin operated washing machines and one coin operated tumble dryer) as well as a shared gas BBQ. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is a large field shared with other cottages, which guests are welcome to use to exercise their dogs responsibly. Unfortunately, we don’t accept any other pets. Other things to note Breakfast Hampers Breakfast hampers are available on request. Our hampers are filled with fresh, high-quality produce from local farms and suppliers for you to cook and enjoy at a time that’s convenient to you. There are two types of hampers available in two sizes (2 or 4 people), which will be left in your cottage on arrival: • Farmhouse Breakfast Hamper with bacon, Cumberland sausages, eggs, beans, bread, butter, orange juice and jam (£22 for 2 people, £40 for 4 people) • Croissants and Eggs Hamper with croissants, eggs, bread, jam, butter, and orange juice (£16 for 2 people, £25 for 4 people) Please pre-order your hamper before your stay by messaging us and pay on arrival at reception. Alpaca Meet and Mingle Get up close with our friendly alpacas during a relaxed, 30-minute experience just for our cottage guests. Feed them, snap some photos, and learn all about their quirky personalities. £10 per adult, £7 per child - £30 per family up to 7 people. Available on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday morning subject to availability. Please state as part of your booking if you’d like to add this onto your stay.
