Recommendation is to book if available since INSTANT BOOK is also set up for guests who have been pre-approved by AirBnb. You don't want to miss out on an amazing place by waiting! All beds have tempurpedic mattresses and/or toppers as well as a minimum of 4 pillows of varying softness/firmness on each bed--which does not include the decorative pillows. Comfort and luxurious sleep are standard at all of my listings. This Woodbridge Condo can easily accommodate 12 or more if need be with 3 queen size air mattresses provided as well as a brown Coaster Furniture couch/sofa bed in the living room which folds down into a futon. This is a 1500 sq ft. 3rd Floor Walk Up, 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Loft Condo located in The Van Vliet Condo Complex in the Woodbridge Historic District of Midtown Detroit, across from Wayne State Matthaei Football Stadium and Wayne State University Main Campus, just down the street from world famous Henry Ford Hospital. There is probably no neighborhood that has done so much in recent years than Midtown Detroit. The area is a blend of history, luxury apartments, modest townhouses and lofts, of services like dry cleaning and a hardware store, of restaurants, galleries and Detroit’s own Wayne State University, the Medical Center and the Culture Center- all making this a very attractive place to be. Midtown hosts two million visitors annually, has a daytime population of over 50,000 and has the largest concentration of cultural, educational and medical institutions in southeast Michigan. It has two radio stations, three cinemas, 10 museums, over 70 restaurants, its own symphony, two historic inns and 12 galleries. Restaurants and nightlife abound, makes this one of the best walkable neighborhoods. This very modern and chic styled loft condo which is only blocks away from Detroit's Main Street known as M-1 Woodward Avenue, an official All-American Road, as listed by the National Historic Scenic Byways Program. Walk a couple of blocks down Warren Avenue to catch the QLine Light Rail Train System at the Warren Avenue stop and go straight downtown for $3 for an all day riding pass--woohoo!!! Look for the QLine app to download for free. You can also rent one of over 400+ MoGo Detroit Bikes for $8/day and the nearest bike station is only 1 block away at Trumbull and Merrick Avenue. The Master Bedroom is a fully furnished private bedroom with super comfortable queen size Tempur-Pedic Mattress bed (super snuggly linens/sheets, lots of pillows, and plush towels provided) with an en-suite (attached) PRIVATE full bathroom, with separate Roman Jacuzzi Bathtub and a separate shower stall with a powerful jet showerhead, mirrored dresser along with tons of walk-in closet space. There is a 48" TV mounted on the wall which has HDMI/USB inputs as well. The Second Bedroom which is just off the living room also has a Tempur-Pedic mattress topper along with comfortably soft sheets and lots of pillows as well. Plenty of closet space and the full bathroom is only a few steps away around the kitchen corner. The Living Room has 2 comfortable couches and the 3rd Brown Coaster Furniture Couch which folds down into a futon for additional sleeping options. The linen closet has 3 queen size air mattresses (with built-in electric pumps), for additional backup sleep options as well. The condo also has a HE (High Efficiency) washer and dryer tucked in a closet across from the first bathroom with basic laundry supplies also provided. This location is just west Wayne State University and the Lodge Freeway and about 6 blocks away from the Fisher Theater/Cadillac Place and 4 blocks from Henry Ford Hospital Medical Campus and the Lodge Fwy (M-10) & Milwaukee Avenue/Grand Blvd exit--for quick and easy access anywhere in Metro Detroit. The modern kitchen is very well stocked with chef-quality culinary equipment and appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, electric ceramic glass top stove, butcher block cutting counter and pantry. This is a truly fully furnished home and kitchen....Stocked with Pots, Pans, Plates, Knives-Forks-Spoons, Serving Utensils, Etc... Full house privileges include internet access as well. 12 cup Krups Coffee Maker is in the kitchen and a single serve coffee machine is available in the Master Bedroom and ready for use. Nearby attractions include the first Henry Ford Mansion, the Berry Gordy (Motown) Mansion, the Motown Museum, the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, the home of World Heavy Weight Boxing Champion Joe Louis, New Center Park, the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), MOCAD, Detroit Public Library, the Fisher Building and Fisher Theater, Cadillac Place, Charles H. Wright Museum, Shinola, and of course world class Wayne State University and Medical Center.
