Cozy Bedroom Seneca Lake Shared kitchen & More

We love sharing our home on Seneca Lake! We have a spare downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The room has one comfortable queen bed, air conditioning & corner lake view. Also feel free to use our kitchen or grill on the deck. Relax with a cup of coffee, tea or glass of wine on the lakeside deck. Spectacular lake sunsets! Minutes to hiking and biking trails, wineries, breweries, swimming & boat access. Explore gorgeous waterfalls or local history sites. Awesome restaurants nearby too! The space The sunsets here are amazing; this setting in the woods and on the lake is peaceful and lush with birds, ducks, loons, herons, ospreys, bald eagles, and geese on the lake. We are 60 feet high overlooking the lake with one of the most scenic views in the area. We are 8 minutes from Geneva, recently rated one of the top 10 romantic cities in the United States! Historic Seneca Falls is 20 minutes away, and there are lots of hiking and biking paths in all directions within 5 - 30 minutes away, on the lake, or woven into the woods with waterfalls. This is a great place for young or young at heart people! We love dogs and our dogs love people and most other dogs. If you would like your dog to stay, please get pre-approval and include the dog in your profile picture please. Kayakers can launch right nearby at several free locations or picnic on our large outside shared deck or at Seneca Lake State Park or Sampson State Park where there are biking, swimming and walking paths right by the lake. There are many many great restaurants varying in price and cuisine, and we have over 120 wineries on the lake and many new craft beer breweries. The new Welcome Center Chamber of Commerce is spectacular! You can explore places to go with their kiosk computers that offer details on exploring the Finger Lakes. You can also order food, wine, beer, iced tea, or coffee and sit outside with an intimate view of the lake. No smoking anywhere on property, please. We adore dogs, but please: PETS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED. Guest access Cozy bedroom and downstairs bathroom for your use, shared only when our friends come for dinner. If you need a private quiet workspace, we have a cool Vintage RV on site with wifi. Also, feel free to use our refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Some guests cook a bit which is fine if you wash your own dishes. :) Enjoy our large shared deck overlooking lake and fire pit area or sit by a cozy fire in the winter. Swimming, kayaking, hiking or bicycling are 5-7 minutes away at two different state parks. During your stay We are social and very much enjoy meeting new people, but we also respect the boundaries of some guests' need for peace and privacy. However, we have made some wonderful new friends through sharing our home! Other things to note We love dogs, and we have 1 certified Pet Therapy Standard Poodle and 2 non shedding mini doodle pups. They do bark initially when people arrive, but as soon as you pet them, they will fall in love with you. We sometimes approve other guest dogs, but we prefer hypoallergenic non-shedding dogs and need an accurate description of possible guest dogs for approval. Although we do not have access for swimming, it is literally 5-7 minutes away to go swimming, kayaking, or biking; there are rentals at the state park too; Sampson State Park and Seneca Lake State Park are really close to our home.
