This fully independent apartment is part of a traditional Oaxacan house with a central patio. It features its own entrance, private patio, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and a small workspace. Guests can occasionally enjoy the rooftop terrace with city and mountain views. Across the street is a top-rated bakery and café, which can bring breakfast directly to your apartment. Every detail reflects care, tradition, and the joy of living the city from a true home. Guest access The apartment is located in a historic house in Oaxaca’s city center, built in the traditional Oaxacan style: living spaces arranged around a central patio. The unit is situated on one side of the property. It shares the main entrance with other apartments but is completely independent. It has its own entrance, a small private patio at the front for the exclusive use of guests, and full privacy. The apartment includes a bedroom, private bathroom, kitchen, and a small workspace. Guests can also occasionally enjoy the shared rooftop terrace, which offers beautiful views of the city and the surrounding mountains, especially in the mornings and at sunset. In the same building, facing the street, there is an excellent bakery and café—considered by many to offer some of the best bread in Oaxaca—which can also provide service directly to the apartment. Other things to note This house has grown with me and my story. The apartment is independent, designed with a friend from Berlin, blending the warmth of Oaxaca with a modern, minimalist style. The space is designed for your comfort and rhythm: the main bedroom features an open shower facing a small interior garden, a detail that makes the apartment truly unique. Our childhood still dances through the patio now and then — to a melancholic guitar, beneath the stars, the moonlight, and the avocado tree.
