The Lake House provides a beautiful, relaxing space for a getaway in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. This 4 bedroom 3 bath home boasts a waterfront view, decks off the kitchen and master, game room with pool table, fishing poles, firepit and a tree-lined walking path around the lake. It is 5 minutes to the airport and 10 miles from downtown Wichita. Incredibly comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay relaxing and fun, whether you're traveling with family, for work or enjoying one of many great events and attractions in Wichita. For the cool spring and fall days, there's a fire pit off the back deck to enjoy, and a pool table downstairs to keep you busy. You can sip coffee in the morning or enjoy a beverage in the evening while watching all the wildlife on and around the lake, including birds, ducks, geese, blue herons, and egrets as well as the occasional hawk, bull frog and turtle. The property is located in a great neighborhood where every home is well-cared for and maintained and is situated right on the fishing lake! The entire home, with the exception of the garage. Owners may need to access garage with advance notice to guests. We are close by and can respond promptly to your needs, and at the same time respect your space and privacy. We have two vacation rentals in Wichita and live next door to one of them, so you may see us around. We enjoy meeting new people, but don’t have a lot of time in our schedules. During warm months, we mow the yard once a week, but will always communicate in advance before coming by. Our main goal is that you enjoy your stay and time in Wichita. This is a stunning neighborhood in a great area of town! There is a gorgeous fishing lake out back to enjoy with a walking path. Nearby, you'll find a nature preserve and golf course, along with a convenience store, grocery stores, and restaurants within a mile. Perfect neighborhood if you like to get out and walk, run or ride a bike. The home is on the west side of town with easy access to Kellogg/ Hwy 54 and just 5 miles from the airport. Get into downtown/ Old Town or to museums and attractions in 15 minutes. Sorry, there is no swimming or boating allowed in the lake.
