The space The Church was built in 1876 and is featured in a chapter of the book Staatsburg: A Village Lost in Time by Anthony P. Musso. The main living space is the former sanctuary which is open and airy and receives wonderful amber light through the original glass-paned windows. Its acoustics are phenomenal. A cozy corner nook has a gas fireplace with a rocking chair. The main bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed with a door that opens to a small front porch. The den bedroom currently has a writing desk, a couch that pulls out to a bed, and bookshelves full of reading material from Japanese haiku and other poetry to visual art books. There is a flat screen television and Apple TV with high-speed wifi throughout. An enclosed sun porch provides a quiet room for reading or resting in spring and summer.
