Enjoy this truly unique experience. This safari style glamping tent is built up in the tree canopy. The generous space comprises of two bedrooms (1 double bed & 1 set of bunk beds), an internal seating area, shower / toilet and extensive outdoor seating area. The internal space is heated by a small log burning stove and the external area enjoys the ambience of a wood pellet patio heater. The area is totally off grid so one can fully enjoy the surrounding area. Also, this is a stand alone unit. The space The tent is in the middle of a working Christmas tree about 3km outside Killarney town. The long access road offers plenty of distance from the main road. A single car parking space is located a very short walk from the pedestrian bridge which crosses the stream at the entrance to the tent. Trees immediately surrounding the tent have been harvested so as to allow natural light into the tent in the morning time. The access road and path are quite clean but appropriate foot wear is recommended. Battery operated lanterns are provided to navigate your way around in hours of darkness. Guest access As this is a working farm guests are requested to stick to the main access road. Other things to note Please take note of the following points. Absolutely no naked flames or smoking is allowed in or around the farm. There is a herd of deer in the farm so please be mindful to refrain from walking in the grass /shrubbery as ticks may be present. It can get cold so bring plenty of warm clothing. On windy nights it can get noisy in the tent. We can provide ear buds but maybe you’d prefer to bring your own.
