Mooringside is a spacious apartment in a delightful creekside position in the peaceful village of Penpol overlooking the tidal Restronguet Creek. This is a wonderfully convenient place to stay, close to Truro and Falmouth. A short walk will take you to the sea at Point Quay, where you can swim or launch a kayak or boat. There are lovely walks nearby and you can cycle along the Bissoe Trail from here to the north Cornish coast. Mooringside has a courtyard garden which is a real sun trap. The space The property is a ground floor flat. The entrance is through a porch. There is a hallway with a door through to a large bedroom to the right with an outlook over the creek, a superking-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. The sitting/dining room is through the left hand door from the hallway and has a range of comfortable furniture. The spacious galley style kitchen is through a doorway from the lounge. There is a second bedroom, with a double bed, to the rear of the kitchen with glazing to the kitchen. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower. This bedroom has a pull-down bed which can be pushed up to create a spare room which could be used as a home office if needed. There is another door from the kitchen to the newly converted third bedroom with zip & link superking or twin bedroom and jack and jill doors to the en-suite bathroom with shower. Two of the bedrooms look towards the creek. One of the bedrooms has an internal window to the kitchen, not the outside of the property, so please bear this in mind when booking. Outside the flat there is a small sitting out courtyard area, surrounded by a picket fence. Parking for 1 car only in an off road parking area. Further free on road parking less than 100 yards away. Facilities & Services: Heating is via an oil and electric combi boiler. The modern fully fitted kitchen has a range of equipment with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, integrated under counter dishwasher, fridge and another separate small fridge / freezer. There is also a washing machine. The sitting room area has a SMART TV. There are two clothes airers, iron & ironing board in the cupboard in the right hand bedroom. WiFi is available throughout the property. Miscellaneous: Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. Strictly no smoking is allowed at the property. Unfortunately, no dogs or animals are permitted. There is a cot & high chair available upon request. Guest access Mooringside is the ground floor flat. The flat has it's own private courtyard. There is one parking space directly outside the flat within a shared car park. Other things to note Please note that there is only one car parking space. Further spaces can be found for free by Point Quay, a short distance, less than 100 metres away.
