The space Twilight Fox Cottage includes main cottage (barn design) with 2 bedrooms, A frame cottage with 1 bedroom and bunk house with 2 bedrooms. Due to this unique structure of 3 buildings Twilight Fox is very flexible and can provide romantic cozy getaway to just a couple or larger group with separate living areas. Barn house structure: 1. Modern and elegant with quality furniture 2. Large loft bedroom with king bed and 2 single beds ( lower bed slides out) 3. Lower bedroom with queen, double single beds 4. Open concept kitchen, dining and living room with large screen TV. 5. Full bathroom with jacuzzi bath tub with timer, half bath room and separate shower and laundry area. A frame structure: 1. Rustic and modern large A frame connected to Barn building by sliding door. 2. Large tall fire place that’s used to heat up the area in winter. 3. Large build in couches around the fire place for the whole group to gather 4. Large wooden Mennonite table for groups to enjoy meals 5. Kitchenette area with mini fridge, Ninja coffee maker and microwave 6. Games, foosball table, life jackets are in the A frame 7. Small loft bedroom perfect for couples at the top of A frame Bunk House: 1. One bedroom with sliding door to little private deck and view of the lake with queen bedroom 2. Second bedroom with single over double bunk bed and fold out IKEA couch. 3. Attached to main cottage by a deck 3 steps away from the A frame in outside. Outside: 1. Large deck with quality sitting couches☀️🧉 2. Four person hot tub🦌 3. Fire burning whisky barrel sauna🍁 4. Dock (seasonal and weather dependent)🦦 5. Three kayaks, canoe, paddle boat and large Lund motor boat ( motor boat is for rent for extra fee)🛶 6. Fire pit with high quality and Muskoka chairs (follow fire burning regulations)🪵 7. Quick kayak trip to amazing Hinterland beach 🏖️ Guest access The main cottage, the A frame structure and bunkhouse if needed. Other things to note Please read carefully: 🍁3 brand new good quality kayaks, canoe and paddle boat all included in your stay. We do have various sizes life jackets on site (best practice is to have them fitted for personal use) 🍁Whiskey Barrel wood burning sauna (we are available to provide instructions how to use) wood provided 🍁4 persons jacuzzi (we do our best to keep jacuzzi in good working condition and it is there as an added bonus to your stay-please call if any problems arise and we will try to remedy the issue) 🍁Hand towels provided/please bring your own bath/beach towels. Let us know if you can’t bring them! We have extra towels available on site if needed! 🍁Linens/bedding provided. 🍁Hand soap/Dishwashing detergent and dishwasher tablets provided. Please bring your own shampoo/choice of body wash. We try to keep body soap on site but availability may vary. 🍁Basic spices provided. We have standard drip coffeemaker, Kureg and French press. We try to keep cooking oil, basic tea and coffee on site however availability may vary 🍁We have 2 loft bedrooms that require claiming stairs. Safety is dependent on guests, 2 bedrooms are in outside bunkie house. 🍁Beautiful large indoor fireplace in A-frame is used to heat up the A-frame. Wood is provided for the fire place. 🍁Fire-pit surrounded by 6 high quality Adirondack chairs. Fire pit wood is available everywhere in the area for about $10. We will monitor the use and apply the charge for your stay or please let us know ahead of time you need wood for the fire pit. 🍁Most cottages and houses in the area have no garbage pick up. It is cottage country and it is personal responsibility of those who live here or visit to take care of their own garbage, no big garbage trucks to do it here for us! The garbage is guests responsibility. The garbage dump is less than 1 km from the cottage. If you have problem with garbage extra payment is needed for our cleaning staff to drive your garbage to the dump. If garbage is left behind and we are not notified an extra charge of $50 will be requested. Driving someone’s garbage to a dump is not the same as cleaning the cottage and cleaners ask for extra payment for that. 🍁We do not allow rentals for large group wild parties. 🍁Many winter activities in the area: snowmobiling trails, ice ring in Barry’s Bay, ice fishing, etc. 🍁NEW Lund 16 foot fishing boat with 5 hp Honda motor available for rent. 🍁The water at the cottage is potable. 🍁The 4 person hot tub is for use of guests. It takes a lot of work from our cleaning staff and us to maintain it in best shape. No use of bath lotions, shampoo, soap or bath bubbles in the hot tub. Wash/Shower before using. Extra $50 charges if hot tub is found extra dirty after stay. Report any issues with hot tub asap as we can try to resolve those, giving us 4 Stars for hot tub issue is not fair as many cottages have no hot tub which requires a lot of extra commitment from us, and they do not get punish for extra work we put in keeping it working. It’s just a machine so be reasonable. 🍁The dock, lake, river and all water crafts are for use of our guests but are not the responsibility of the host (use under guests own discretion and responsibility). The availability of dock and swimming conditions are weather dependent and not the host responsibility.
