Old Mulberry Stone House Apartma Murva

Welcome to a more than 170-year-old Istrian stone house in which, despite having been renovated in 2022, you can find architectural details and nuances from the past, in 2 apartments. During the renovation, we paid attention to details that emphasise the Istrian stone construction. The house is situated in the countryside in a small village on a hill near Koper and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is an ideal choice for couples or families, lovers of nature and rural life. The space This apartment is accessible from the ground floor by wooden stairs to the 1st floor. It is equipped and suitable for 4 people and has: ✔ a large living room with a sofa, ✔ a room with a double king size bed (180x200 cm) and two single beds (90x200 cm), ✔ an equipped kitchen and ✔ a bathroom. Some pieces of furniture are very old, they have been renovated, so they serve their purpose. They are part of the family heirloom, so we value them very much. There is free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. In the fenced yard, in the shade of a 100-year-old mulberry tree, there is a large stone table meant for enjoying food and relaxation. Part of the common yard is intended for the guests of the lower apartment - studio (it is located on the ground floor, it is for 2 people and pets are allowed), but the outside seating area is arranged so that the guests of both apartments have their own privacy. Guest access You can reach our house by car and park it near the house in our parking lot. The yard is fenced. In our vicinity there are various restaurants for culinary delights, a shop, famous winemakers, and olive oil producers. We also produce some olive oil and Refošk red wine ourselves. It takes approximately 10 minutes to get to the beach or to arrive at the border with Croatia. You can get to Trieste in 25 minutes, Ljubljana in 1 hour and Venice in 2 hours. Bike lovers can explore the nearby hills or take the famous Parenzana cycling route. Other things to note The tourist tax is an additional payment of 2,50€/person/day; children 7-18 years 1,25€/person/day. The tourist tax must be paid on arrival. Parties are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed inside of the accommodation.
