Welcome to our Cozy Riverside Cottage! Get that feeling of being "at the cottage" and enjoy your very own private deck overlooking a private beach, fire pit, BBQ, groomed oversized lawn, fast Wi-fi, heating and air-conditioning. The space This cottage is the definition of Cozy with its updated Kitchen and interior. With direct access to the river, the perfect oversized lawn for playing any outdoor games, being so close to Algonquin Provincial Park, Arrowhead Park, and the best rated OFSC snowmobile trails makes this spot perfect for any season getaway! Included in your Stay: • Private deck with Picnic table overlooking the river (Watch the kids play at the beach while you relax on the deck!) • Private beach on riverside, perfect starting point for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, etc. • Brick Firepit (firewood included) • Access to water/lawn toys including: Lawn bowling, horseshoe, bola-ball, SUP, floaties and more! (limited Adult/child lifejackets included) **please note: our blue inflatable Kayaks seen in the photos were damaged and are currently unavilable** • Fast Wi-Fi (over 25MB/s.. Works well with gaming / streaming) • Kitchen is labelled and equipped with everything you need. (Pots/pans, dishes, coffee maker, toaster Etc.) Includes: Coffee, tea, sugar, salt+pepper. • 2 Smart Tv's with DVD player and movies • Well water with filtration system (safe to drink) • Bedding/pillows on all 3 comfortable beds with an extra pullout sofa upstairs In Summer: • Katrine Beach is a short 10 min walk away. The park is complete with public beach, picnic tables, charcoal BBQ pit, washroom building equipped with a wheelchair ramp, beach volleyball area, basketball pad and net, swings and playground. • Free paved public boat launch located just down the road by the beach. • Amazing fishing spots mainly for Pickerel, Bass, and Rock Bass. (We have a map highlighting some great spots for each type!) • Great 4-wheeling trails. The Algonquin West ATV Club has over 200km of trails, over 80% of these trails are actual trails, deep in the bush, mainly on crown land. Day, weekly and yearly trail passes can be purchased nearby. In Winter: • We are close to some of the best voted OFSC snowmobile trails in Ontario! • Arrowhead Provincial Park for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and more. The ice skating trail is the best known attraction 17 min • Thunder Ridge Farms also offers fun sleigh rides in Sprucedale. $200 per ride, 12-14 guests, includes 1-1/2 hour sleigh ride with a stop at the cabin for a bonfire and hot coco 13 mins • Eclipse "Walk of Lights" at Muskoka Heritage Place Also nearby: • Katrine General Store which is conveniently located 2 min drive down the road with an LCBO (with a great selection) inside for any last-minute needs. They also sell pizza + Ice Cream inside at the Big Doe Pizza Co. • Algonquin Provincial Park (with many summer/winter activities and sightseeing locations) • Hidden Valley Resort Muskoka (ski in winter or zipline in summer) • Katrine Marine -2 min • Almaguin Highlands Golf - 5 min • Burk's Falls (Grocery store / Gas station / Tim-Hortons / LCBO) 7-8 min • Treetop Trekking in Huntsville -25 min Guest access **The 3 car garage is off limits to guests, however you may park in front of it** There is enough parking space on the property to accommodate 10+ vehicles/ trailers. We ask you do not block the neighbors driveway. Other things to note ** RULES ** READ BEFORE ENQUIRING ** 1: Absolutely no parties, quiet time outside is at 11pm as we have neighbors. 2: The toilet system is on septic, so we ask that you toss ONLY toilet paper down the toilet. (NO flushable wipes, feminine hygiene products, etc.) We have discrete bags for you to dispose of anything in the bathroom. 3: Extra un-registered guests are not allowed. 4: Pets are allowed but any droppings must be picked up and disposed of properly. 5: NO smoking or vaping indoors! (that includes the 3 seasons room) 7: The neighbor's dogs (Bella/Sadie) may come around, they are very friendly, however we ask you do NOT feed them. 8: Cell phone service isn't the greatest for Rogers/Fido customers, you may not have any service in some areas we have cameras on site.1 facing driveway one facing our boat
