This convenient, accessible & humble 1940s cottage is perfect for your West Texas get-away needs. The house is right off of the highway on your way to Big Bend National Park, close to our organic grocery store -- and around a 30 minute drive from Marfa. The 1/bed 1/bath features lots of natural light, one queen bed in the bedroom, 1 small bathroom off of the bedroom, fast wifi, an outdoor gravel area, & a quaint kitchen with most of your basic needs! Well behaved pets allowed for a fee. The space ~Some details~ • Fast wifi (WFH / work from here:) • En route to Big Bend National Park & less than 30 minutes from Marfa • Walking distance to the local organic grocery store • Backyard sitting area includes privacy fence & hammock • Adobe walls keep the place temperate but there are window units, ceiling fans, & space heaters when needed! • Lots of windows = natural light that pours in all day • Kitchen includes coffee maker (and pour over equipment), water heater, Berkey water filter, microwave & electric stove **Well behaved pets are welcome for a fee! Message me & I'll spill all the details! Any damaged items or incurred house damages that need repair will be required to be payed for in full by guests. Other things to note This is an older adobe! This means it’s not in a perfect condition (and these houses don’t have central hvac!), but it is certainly charming and very cozy. I look to make your stay enjoyable and convenient for quick access to the National/State Parks, visiting Marfa, Fort Davis or the surrounding areas.
