Coronation House Merthyr, Brecon, Bike Park Wales

Coronation House is a typical Welsh terrace in the historical mining village of Aberfan. Just a short drive from Bike Park Wales and exploring the Brecon Beacons and South Wales. Aberfan is a former coal mining village in the Taff Valley 4 mi (6 km) south of the town of Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. It also has history with the Aberfan disaster. The Aberfan disaster was the catastrophic collapse of a colliery spoil tip on 21 October 1966. The space The house is a traditional Welsh miners terrace property, well equipped and nicely decorated with an entrance hall leading to an open plan lounge /diner and then into a good size kitchen and utility space with all the modern amenities you would need. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. One double, a single and a twin room. There is a good size dressing area with plenty of hanging rails which leads to a bathroom with shower bath, sink and toilet. There is acess to a small garden via the lane and a locked gate and shed for storage of bikes if needed. Please note: Parking is on street on a residential street. We cannot guarantee parking outside the house as this is not allocated, There is a dead end road so may have to reverse to vacate the street when parking and it may not always be possible to park outside the house at busy periods. Street may be busier in later evening and weekends and harder to park immediately infront of the house. The property is a typical Welsh valleys miners terrace house. Please note that the stairs are steep. Cleaning Fee Policy We kindly remind all guests that the cleaning fee you pay is designated to prepare the property for your stay. This includes linen hire and adhering to enhanced cleaning protocols to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for every guest. However, paying a cleaning fee does not eliminate the expectation that the property be left in a reasonably tidy condition upon checkout. Guests are required to follow the checkout procedures and maintain the property during their stay. To respect the property and future guests, we ask that you: Wipe down surfaces after cooking. Wash dishes. Dispose of waste in provided black bags. Basic cleaning materials are provided for your convenience to help you maintain cleanliness during your stay. While our properties are professionally cleaned between stays, any additional cleaning required due to neglect may result in extra charges being billed to the guest.
