A comfortable family holiday home in the heart of historic St Andrews, this stylish 4 bedroom town house has been renovated throughout to provide guests with a relaxed base from which to enjoy everything that St Andrews and the surrounding East Neuk of Fife has to offer. Centrally located, with free on-street parking, there is easy access to shops, restaurants, and bars, the town’s two iconic beaches, and the world-renowned golf course, the Old Course - mere minutes walk from the front door. The space Entering our property, at ground floor level there is an entrance hallway with ample storage space for coats, jackets, footwear, and golf bags. Stairs lead to a half-landing shower room with WC, and proceed to the first floor where the comfortable sitting room with smart TV, master double bedroom with ensuite shower room, and spacious dining kitchen are located. A small, cosy snug with a second smart TV, Wii, and variety of books and board games is based on the next half-landing. The top floor of the house contains three further bedrooms (two twin bedrooms plus a single bedroom with compact built-in desk area) and bathroom with overhead shower & WC. Guest access The entrance vestibule entered from the street is shared with the downstairs garden flat. The entire townhouse from the ground floor hallway up to the second floor is entirely for the comfort and accommodation of our guests throughout their stay with us. Other things to note Dating from the 1830s, the property retains a number of period features including shutters in many of the rooms, decorative cornicing in the sitting room, iron balustrades, and an open fireplace with cast-iron grate. Our aim is to provide a comfortable home-from-home environment for guests to relax and enjoy their time in the East Neuk. The property is centrally-heated throughout; has a fully-fitted kitchen including range cooker, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee-maker, plus an ample supply of crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. A small ‘starter pack’ of essential groceries including bread, milk, bacon, eggs, butter, shortbread etc welcomes our guests at the beginning of each visit; we’re always happy to tailor this in line with individual dietary requirements. Complimentary tea, coffee, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, plus hand soap, shower gel and shampoos are provided for our guests.
