Enjoy our 3b , 2b home, located a few short minutes walk to downtown Sanford. Enjoy Sanford's festivals, great food, music, microbreweries, parks, arts, walks along Lake Monroe & marina. A few blocks from Venue 1902, close to Boombah Sports Complex, and Sanford Zoo. A short hour or so to Orlando's many amazing theme parks (use I-4's genius express lanes). A quick 45 minutes to New Smyrna Beach and Port Canaveral. Enjoy a amazing rocket launch, then come home to comfort, cleanliness, and peace. The space Our home has a wide open floor plan where the living room/dining room combo is adjacent to the kitchen for easy family gatherings! This open space encourages families and friends to congregate, maximizing the time you spend together! The master bedroom is the yellow room and has a king bed, an en suite bath with a standing shower, bright sky light, closet with hangers, luggage rack, chest-of-drawers, oversized night tables, ceiling fan, power strips next to each night stand for CPAPs and phone charging. In this room, you will find a gorgeous metal photo of one of the Sanford piers on Lake Monroe, which was taken by Seminole County artist, and our friend, Jim Uhing, who is a well recognized wildlife photographer. Please let us know and we can give you more details if you want to see more of Jim's amazing work for purchase. Because it's an older home, neither of the bathrooms have electric outlets. We have made blow dryers available. Please use the mirrors behind the bedroom doors to complete your amazing hairdos. The 2nd bedroom is the old timey golf room with a queen bed, a chest-of-drawers, a luggage rack, ceiling fan, closet with hangers, small side tables, and power strips next to each for CPAPS and phone charging. Enjoy being taken back to golfs olden days in this throwback room. The 3rd bedroom is the kids rock & roll room boasting a bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin on the top, a closet with hangers and one over sized side table. The top bed has a weight limit of 130 lbs, please do not exceed that weight for your safety, and for liability purposes. We want to make sure everyone is safe. This room gives you a great opportunity to explain what 45's were and who the amazing/influential guitarist Jimi Hendrix was. Please note our home has ONE TV in the living room, we DO NOT have TVs in the bedrooms. When we are there, if we want to see TV in the bedroom, we use our tablet, laptop or phone, or mostly outside of t.v., we like to read books we're behind on. We also hope you will enjoy our books and games while you are our guests! Guest access You have access to the whole of the 3 bedroom, 2 bath home! Please note, the building does have a 1 bedroom, 1 bath mother-in-law suite on the other side of the garage that may or may not be rented while you are a guest. Guests of the mother-in-law suite will use the right side of the driveway. There is also a 1 car garage that is only accessible in order to use the laundry room and for garbage and recycling. The 1 car garage is also used for our storage and houses our 6-seater golf cart. We will happily rent our golf cart to you for $165 daily with prepayment, rental agreement, and proof of insurance. Parking is important. Please be sure to park on the left side of the driveway (the right side will be used by mother-in law suite guests) and do not block the sidewalk. There is space on the driveway for a car in front of the garage door and on the road side of the sidewalk, without blocking the sidewalk. Street parking is also available. We have a very large back yard, but my husband and I have not done any beautification or landscaping and so have not provided any outdoor seating nor do we advertise it as part of our space. You have access to the yard, but that is up to your own discretion. The laundry room is at the back of the garage. In the garage, you have access to the laundry room through the door labeled laundry. Watch you step when going to the laundry room. Use the hand rail for your safety and security. Please help yourself to the washer/dryer, and we have provided detergent and dryer sheets for your convenience. Other things to note Our home is very central, in Central Florida. An hour or less to Daytona, downtown Orlando, theme parks, beaches, and right next to Orlando/Sanford International airport. We offer a great launching point to all of Central Florida, coast-to-coast. We are close to many of Central Florida's natural springs, world class golf, UCF Sporting events (Charge on, Go Knights), Florida state parks, any indoor or outdoor entertainment you could want.
