PRIVATE campsite or glamping up in the barn! This is an AMAZING private secluded BEAUTIFUL 6.5 acre property perfect for a unique experience, wedding, retreat, reunion or group camp! Barn sleeps up to 25 ... either downstairs in the stalls or upstairs (bring your own bedding, inflatable mattresses, pads, hammocks etc) or pitch tents outside! We have a grill, fire pit, BBQ table and umbrella. Bring beach chairs. Barn has water, electricity and small fridge. VERY clean porta potty. Amazing grounds backed onto the James Goodwin forest....plus a 4 stall beautiful barn with large loft upstairs. Barn sleeps up to 25 upper and lower levels. If you choose to pitch tents outside you’ll see the brightest stars ever and fall asleep to the sounds of the two streams that flow on the property. Plenty of windows in loft and in stalls below for great air flow. Long table and benches in barn loft for games, cards, or for just hanging. AND if you are looking for a PRIVATE WEDDING venue, ( separate prices for weddings) a retreat, reunion, family gathering, group camp ..then this is it! Plenty of off street parking Very clean porta potty with hand sanitizer, running water (cold from the hose), and use of Weber grill and large fire pit. Bring your own charcoal and wood or axe to chop up fallen trees in the forest! Come listen and fall asleep to the many sounds of the forest, toads, crickets and the early morning chorus of birds. Heaven. Music allowed but not too LOUD ..and music shuts down by 10- 10.20pm! Thank you!! Drive up to the barn and park in front of the barn please. Easy access. Don't drive behind the barn please. Usually by text! The property is surrounded by the James Goodwin Forest so it’s incredibly private and lush! Great local color coded hiking trails. Mansfield Hollow Lake is 10mins away where you can kayak or fish and spend the day with a picnic. The Natchaug river is in walking distance - 5mins where there are many desired fishing spots and great wading too! Plus the Connecticut wine tasting trail. Diana's Pool less than 5 mins away, local watering hole. Lots of local amenities like restaurants, local pizza delivery, Walmart, package stores and Mansfield movieplex all close by. All amenities are close by ie grocery stores, Illianos pizza delivery, gas stations, ice, wood. ( needs a car). However within walking distance are numerous labeled hiking trails, fishing in the Natchaug river (license required). Great bird watching, amazing night stars, gorgeous sunsets!! Prices are as follows:- 4 people- $140 per night Each additional person $25 per person per night Also note….. We used to own a donkey and pony but our amazing donkey Ziggy passed away last year and therefore we gave Pistol Pete the pony back to his original owner/breeder right down the street where he is happy with his brothers and sisters as he needs companionship. A lot of past reviews from 2019 mention them … but sadly they are no longer here. (Just so no one gets disappointed upon arrival). There is still an abundance of wildlife and birds around and our doggies Max and Pepper are a hoot!
