Private, Cozy Basement Apartment with Full Bath.

This is a small BASEMENT apartment. The apt has a bedroom with full-sized bed (not queen), TV, small fireplace, full bath, and large closet. Also a sitting area-see pics. NO natural light in the space, except in the sitting area, but all spaces are well lit. Three doors, bedroom, bathroom and main which shuts apartment off from rest of basement. NO space for an additional air mattress as it only holds two folks in full bed. 3 cats with a cat door but no cats are ever allowed in the apartment. The space My Son-in-law calls this apartment THE BAT CAVE because he loves the privacy and sleeps so well in the total darkness day or night. Again, there is NO natural light in the space, but it is well lit. There are two windows in the sitting area outside of the apartment and there is a woodworking shop on the other side of basement but no work goes on when guests are staying. There are no cooking facilities, but I do provide a small microwave, a small fridge, an electric hot water pot, a Keurig, with accompanying container of water, teas, coffee, hot chocolate, sweeteners, creamer, micro popcorn, oatmeal, paper plates, bowls, napkins, cutlery. No cats are ever allowed in the space. Guest access Guests can enter through the house and go down the basement stairway with railing or access the apartment via an outside stairwell with railing and lighting, weather permitting. Guests are welcome to access outside areas, the breezeway. Special arrangements can be made for laundry room if needed. Kitchen is off limits. During your stay Host lives in house and will interface with guests for initial meeting and tour of the space, explain amenities, etc. Guests will have a key for access to accommodate their schedules. Guests can access the space from inside the house or outside stairway. Outside stairway is not recommended in inclement weather or winter in general. Other things to note Apartment is suitable for one guest or a couple. One full sized bed (bigger than twin, not as big as queen). No air mattresses are allowed in space as it is not large enough. Guests will walk through a basement which has a woodworking area on one side and their space on other side of basement. They must be comfortable walking up and down a full staircase into the basement from either outside or inside the house. Owners have three cats who are never allowed into apartment. Guests might hear cats using cat doors to enter and leave house. The cat doors are located in the outside basement door and the door at top of stairway into house. Since this space is small and priced accordingly, there are no open cooking facilities. A small fridge, microwave, and quick heating electric hot water pot and keurig are provided along with teas, coffee, hot chocolate, (similar to a standard hotel). I also provide paper plates, bowls, cups, napkins, utensils, microwave popcorn and oatmeal for guests' convenience. Pool closes at 11 pm and no one allowed in it after closing
