You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind boutique stay in nature. Switch off, unwind and breathe in the clean crisp air while you take in the stunning country views that never end. The full 5 star bathroom will take your breath away and the cosy gas log fireplace will have you never wanting to leave. ** SUMMER ** It is very hot in the summer months particularly January - February. Please consider the heat prior to booking. Maximum occupancy is 2 Adults (sorry no children) The space Take a load off and sip your favourite beverage by the outdoor fire pit at Blue Ridge Estate. Or stay indoors by the cosy gas log fireplace and cook delicious meals on the webber bbq. Enjoy extreme comfort in a king size bed situated in the loft and feel comfortable in our deluxe robes for you to use during your stay. Blue Ridge Estate is an off-grid cottage, with electricity for only the real essential purposes, as well as gas cooking and tank water. There is no air-conditioning. We have a ceiling fan, and 2 industrial pedestal fans for your use. This is a glamping experience like no other, with some wonderful town-type luxuries, but still being in the serenity of nature and a completely private location. Guest access The entire cottage is yours for the duration of your stay. Some things to note prior to booking!! - This is a loft-style cottage on a farm, surrounded by trees and paddocks. WIFI reception is limited and sometimes completely unreliable. There is no TV (we want you to switch off and connect with each other, yourselves & nature) and due to it being off-grid and running entirely on solar, there is no air-conditioning, microwave, oven or toaster (we have a stove top camp toaster for you & the Webber). There will be bugs (keep the lights off overnight to reduce!) and spiders! Especially during the warmer months. They are tiny & harmless, they build webs and yes we get them maintained often but they love to spin them faster than we can remove them. This is not a city apartment, it's comfort in the wild! Enjoy nature at it's finest. Feel free to roam about the farm surrounds, there is a hilltop just behind your cottage that gives you uninterrupted 360 degree views of the valley and the snowfields. A must see! Other things to note Some house rules: You can park right at the front of the cottage, just keep the gate shut so the cows don't come along and lick your car. The fire pit must be extinguished prior to leaving. Please take notice of fire bans during summer, the fire pit cannot be used. Please keep an eye out for snakes in the warmer months. If you open a gate, please shut it again.
