The little mill
Description
Nestled in the hollow of a green valley located in the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park, the village of Saint-Martin-de-Vers immerses you in its enchanting setting. By the water, next to a small 18th century stone bridge, the small mill awaits you. In summer, its covered terrace, shaded garden and river are a true oasis. In winter, the cozy interior and the crackling wood fire create a warm atmosphere. Welcome! The space The front door, located on the first floor, opens onto a large space composed of an equipped American kitchen, a dining room and a living room. Upstairs, under the slate tiles, you will discover a bright suite with a double bed, a sofa bed and a bathroom with bathtub and toilet. On the ground floor, in the old engine room of the mill, you will discover a second spacious bedroom with a subdued atmosphere and a plant-based atmosphere. A glass door gives direct access to a second terrace and the garden. On the same floor you will find a small shower room as well as a laundry room with toilet. Bed linen and towels are optional for €5/person. You can enjoy the clear and fresh waters of the Vers that run along the house. Two points of attention: there is no sound insulation between the floors and the garden is not fenced, it is necessary to supervise young children because there is direct access to the river from the garden. Guest access The house and garden are yours alone. Other things to note What to do from the small mill? Many walks crisscross the region, around the small surrounding villages in particular.
