Private room in stylish light-filled house

Large spare room in our beautiful house, with a double futon bed, standing desk & chest of drawers. You’d have access to a large shared kitchen and bathroom (with bath and shower), downstairs toilet, spacious living room including smart TV & south-facing private sunny back garden with table & chairs outside. Clean bedding & towels will be provided during your stay. We also have a cleaner that comes every Friday. We like to keep the place clean. Fully stocked kitchen, use whatever you need! The space We have tried to create a serene, minimalist home with character! This is a terraced house on a quiet street. The front garden is filled with gorgeous flowers and plants. WiFi is very good and suitable for home working. Downstairs, there is a large, fully stocked kitchen & dining table. You are welcome to use the cutlery, crockery, spices, sauces etc. You’ll have your own shelf in the fridge to store your food. The glass doors in the kitchen open into the living room with a very cosy three-seater corner sofa. There is a 50” HD OLED smart tv which has Netflix, prime, ch4, bbc, YouTube etc & chromecast. There is also a firestick. Sliding doors open onto the garden, where there is a table and chairs for dining/chilling. There is a second toilet downstairs. There is also a small utility room with washing machine. And tumble dryer under the stairs. Please feel free to do laundry while you’re here! There is also an upright piano in the “nook” area with a huge glass window providing a view into the garden. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. One is our bedroom, the second is a small office room. Your room will be a large sized bedroom with a folding double futon bed. Please note, the bed is a low bed. Inside the room there is a desk which can be converted into a standing desk. There is a wardrobe and storage chest to put your clothes in. Clean bedding and towels will be provided. Upstairs there is also the main bathroom, with a stand-alone shower unit and a separate bath. The back garden is fenced off and not very overlooked so feels very private and it’s a nice place to sit and have a coffee in peace! At the end of the road there is a park with a small cafe. A few minutes away there is a larger park with a lake & ducks! Hither Green station is a 5 minute walk away where you can access central London easily. Near the station there is a Sainsbury’s local, a Nisa local, the station hotel (a lovely gastropub), you don’t bring me flowers (an eccentric cafe/flower shop), the hither green cafe, the station cafe (a fab greasy spoon), a chippy & hair salons. About 10 minutes away from the house is a large LIDL shop and Lee High Road which has lots of shops and leads you to lewisham shopping centre which has high street shops like H&M, TK Maxx, M&S etc. The house is located walking distance or a short bus ride away from the stunning areas of blackheath & Greenwich. We want you to feel at home here & we’ll respect your space and privacy, but we are on hand and happy to chat or provide directions/local tips if you wish! Guest access You would have some access to your bedroom which is located upstairs. You will also have access to shared areas: upstairs bathroom & downstairs toilet, living room, kitchen and front & back garden. Basically everything except our bedroom and one office room! You’re welcome to use the Piano too if you play :) During your stay We will be staying at the property, so will be around to help with anything at all.
