Seasonal rental of a quiet house 12 km from Caen, tastefully decorated, very well equipped and comfortable for 8 people (4 double beds: 1 king, 2 queens, 1 double). The space A contemporary house that is very pleasant to stay in, built and furnished with taste and with quality materials and furniture, quiet and spacious, a peaceful oasis for your vacation. The house is very quiet at night and on weekends (a little traffic during rush hours on weekdays outside of school holidays). Gated access to a private driveway (4 houses including mine). The sleeping area consists of a large 25m² double bedroom with a 180x200 bed, a very large walk-in closet, and a 55" TV with Chromecast Wi-Fi for apps (there are no TV channels), 2 teen bedrooms of 14m² with 160x200 beds, walk-in closets, and a 55" TV (also with Chromecast = no TV channels); finally, there is a 4th "guest" bedroom or small bedroom with a 140x190 double bed equipped with a small dresser and a clothes rack. All the bedrooms are upstairs, where there is also a bathroom with a corner bathtub and shower and a separate toilet. A large mezzanine with a minibar completes the space. On the ground floor, a large 50 m² open living-dining room welcomes you with a 55" Panasonic OLED flat-screen TV with Bose soundbar, Freebox Pop fiber, Wi-Fi and free Netflix access ("guest" access). The small round table in the kitchen can seat 4/5 people, and the dining room table has 2 extensions and can easily seat 12 guests (13 chairs in all), with tablecloths and placemats available. In the extension of the living/dining room (the space is open) is the fitted kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Tassimo and Senséo coffee machines, kettle, toaster, juicer, and raclette machine. On the ground floor, you will find a second bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. High-speed WiFi (fiber with repeater) throughout the house. Pantry with washing machine, second fridge-freezer and cleaning supplies (vacuum cleaner, mop, broom). iRobot vacuum cleaner on the ground floor. Electric shutters everywhere on the ground floor and in the 2 bedrooms with access to the balcony. The Velux windows upstairs all have blackout shades (except the bathroom). Linens and bathroom towels provided. The house has no baby equipment (no high chair, no folding crib, no bathtub, etc.) and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Outside you will find a fully enclosed garden with a total surface area of 800 m². I accept pets, up to a limit of 2 per stay, provided that you pick up their droppings in the garden daily so that the robotic lawnmower can do its job properly. The 70 m² terrace faces southwest (you will have the midday sun until 8 pm), is shaded by trees and equipped with deck chairs and relaxing armchairs, a dining table for 8 people, parasols and a gas plancha. A small paradise located in a quiet area, outside the housing development, with the city less than 15 minutes away and the woods less than 50 meters away for lovely walks. Parking for 3 cars in front of the house, access via a secure gate. Other vehicles can park for free outside the property. Carpiquet swimming pool 9 km (12 min) away, outdoor tennis court next to the Baron town hall 5 min walk away. The Baron woods are a 2-minute walk from the house for wonderful walks. Downtown Caen is 12 km away. Local shops 1 km away, supermarket 3 km away, Rots shopping center (Cora) 13 km away (13 min). A car is strongly advised if you are staying in the house. Access: Caen ring road 8 km away. From Paris: 245 km by car, 2 hours by train from the St Lazare train station. Caen Carpiquet Airport is 5 km away. Nearest beach Ouistreham 27 km (23 min), D-Day landing beaches 30 km (30 min), Caen Memorial 12 km (11 min). Very nice summer resort in Suisse Normande in Clécy, 33 km (40 min) away, with its waterfront restaurants and many water activities: swimming, canoeing and kayaking (7, 12, 20 km descents), paddle boarding, pedal boats, motorboats (without a license), as well as climbing, hiking, horseback riding, hang gliding, bungee jumping (reservation required). Le Mont St Michel is 122 km away, a 1 hour 15 minute drive. The house is completely NON-SMOKING indoors. Guest access Exclusive access to the entire house and the outside areas except the garage, the office and the cloakroom on the ground floor.
