Our unique space has been updated with new decor and lots of amenities for a great stay, while still highlighting its rich history. Located in the Grandview area of Columbus, this home is just 2 miles from the Shoe, Short North Arts District and close to downtown! Once owned by a local family-owned iron company, it still showcases lots of custom ironwork inside and out. The spacious rooms have high ceilings and lots of character with one full private bedroom, a large sleeping loft and bath. The space Check out the high ceilings of this newly renovated space near downtown! The open and airy first floor includes a newly remodeled kitchen and living space for lounging, or taking in a game. The upstairs consists of a modern bedroom with a brand new queen size bed and vanity/mirror area. The oversized sleeping room/loft has a new king size bed as well as an additional lounging area with swings and a record player. The bathroom showcases an original and beautifully restored clawfoot bathtub! Enjoy the view from the second story balcony before walking to one of the many great places Columbus and Grandview have to offer! *We LOVE all things local and have decorated and stocked the home with lots of local products to try, and have displayed local sites to see. This home has been renovated into a duplex but does not currently have tenants in the other side. Other things to note This is a historic home that has been used for many things, including a barber shop, pickling store, and convenience store. Older homes can have some creaks and inconsistencies which we find charming. We have attempted to restore some of that charm and history including custom ironwork and the original clawfoot bathtub.
