The bedroom is at the back of the house and has fabulous cross ventilation, an air conditioner and a private bathroom. You can enjoy sitting on the front porch with a view of the Big Eddy and the Narrowsburg Bridge over the Delaware River, or have more privacy in the backyard. Narrowsburg is the Eagle Capital of NYS and can often be seen overhead. The voices of many birds can be heard from the porch. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area - deer often walk through the backyard, while you are sitting there! We are just 2 hours from the GW Bridge. Please park facing the cemetery as it allows room for others. All common areas are available for your use - the great room, with kitchen and dining area, the living room, both the front porch and the back yard! While centrally located in the town, we are also private in our location, set back from the road with a great view of the river. No neighbors on any side (a vacant house next door) and walking distance to pretty much anything you need! Great restaurants in town - The Heron and The Laundrette, I’ll Piccolo Ponte Ristorant Italiano, Carini's pizza place, Chinese restaurant, grocery store. About 10 miles away in Henning's Local... and other wonderful restaurants in all directions! Summer brings fishing, canoeing, hiking, rafting, kayaking, biking and so much more! My home is in walking distance of the Delaware River and all amenities, including the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance and the Tusten Theater, restaurants, shopping, art gallery and fishing and canoeing, rafting and kayaking. We are less than 30 minutes away from entertainment in all directions - from Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts (15 miles), The Forestburgh Playhouse and Tavern (25 miles on lovely back roads), The Cooperage Project, great farmers markets, and so much more. There is no public transportation. We are just 2 hours from the GW Bridge. Cell service is OK here and in town, but is spotty to non-existent on the local roads unless you are at a high elevation!
