The cottage "La Madeleine", nestled in a small peaceful village, benefits from an ideal location to enjoy the many activities that the Ardèche offers, combining relaxation, the outdoors and cultural discoveries. In the heart of a preserved natural environment, it offers all the necessary comfort for a relaxing stay. Only a few kilometers from the famous Gorges de l'Ardèche and the Chauvet cave, this accommodation is ideal for discovering the region. The space The cottage is equipped and organized to accommodate up to four adults and a baby. On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen as well as a comfortable living room to relax after your days of adventure. Upstairs, two bedrooms offer all the comfort for peaceful nights, and a bathroom completes the facilities. It is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends looking for a quiet and warm setting for a memorable vacation. Guest access The cottage is adjoining our main residence, where we live all year round. It is therefore possible that we may come across you during your stay. The accommodation is completely independent and has its own private terrace. However, some areas are shared, such as the courtyard, the garden and the swimming pool. ACCESS TO THE POOL & COURTYARD: The access times to the interior courtyard and the swimming pool are: 10:00-18:00. The use of sunscreen, 'tanning' oils and make-up are prohibited when swimming. Outside of these hours, an outdoor space adjoining the cottage is dedicated to you. It offers a table for meals with a gas plancha and a small garden furniture. Other things to note The surrounding area offers a multitude of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. You can go hiking, canoeing, climbing or cycling. The Gorges de l'Ardèche are particularly popular for canoeing, while many hiking trails will allow you to discover wild and grandiose landscapes. The proximity of the Chauvet cave, a unique archaeological site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will delight history and culture enthusiasts. The village of Saint-Remèze itself is full of charming restaurants and local producers. You can taste regional products such as wine, olive oil, honey, beer or discover lavender and lavandin essential oils, emblematic of the region. A great opportunity to discover the local gastronomy and leave with gourmet souvenirs. SUMMER: Local producers' markets in summer 2 minutes walk away: Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings from June to September.
