104. 5* Star Reviews A rural and cosy 1 bedroom self-contained cabin, just a 10 minute walk to the moor. We are a 1 minute walk to the historic monument of Trethevy Quoit. We are located on the edge of Bodmin Moor with the Cheesewring & the Hurlers a short drive or a longer stomp across the moor. We are 3 miles from the town of Liskeard and 8 miles from the coastal town of Looe. We also have some of Cornwall's other lovely beach towns such as Bude, Padstow, Newquay and St Ives to name but a few The space A cosy cabin located in an area of outstanding natural beauty with 1 bedroom, en-suite shower room with toilet and sink. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with a small freezer compartment as well as cooking utensils. There is a smart TV located in the lounge and bedroom. We are providing bedroom linen, bath and hand towels, hand soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, sponges, tea towels, tin foil and cling film for your stay. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable with a king size bed and a shepherds hut feel, it has black out blinds, leading to a modern en-suite shower room with underfloor heating. The cabin is fully insulated and also has central heating. The lounge area has a woodburner for those cosy autumn/winter evenings. Logs and firelighters will be supplied to ensure a comfy stay. We have also provided some fleece blankets. The cabin and landscaped garden is available for the sole use of guests. We will leave you enough tea/coffee/sugar/milk to have a welcome cuppa on arrival. If you would like to book a long stay with us, we have a utility room equipped with a washing machine, clothes airer and cleaning equipment so you can be fully self-sufficient. If you need to check in/out outside of our set times please get in contact as we may be able to accommodate you. We will try and help if we can. Guest access Private off road parking for two vehicles Other things to note Please note there is a granite step into the garden from the parking area and also another granite step into the cabin. Local pubs which are a short distance away are Crows Nest Inn (less than 10min walk from us), The Market Inn at St Cleer or Wheel Tor in Pensilva. There is also Trevallicks Farm Shop which is on the moor at Pensilva who do amazing breakfasts. Due to allergies, we are unable to accommodate cats in our cabin. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the cabin at any time.
