Quiet apartment on a beautiful farm in Chickamauga, Georgia just 35 minutes from Chattanooga attractions and activities. Apartment is attached to a lovely home but closed off and has a separate porch entry overlooking the front yard pond. Home is located on a peaceful 32 acre property that is also home to horses, miniature horses, chickens, sheep, and a donkey. Nearby activities include the Chickamauga Battlefield, Cloudland Canyon State Park, downtown Chickamauga, hiking, biking and climbing. The space The Pond Apartment is a peaceful vacation rental for adults, families, and friends. Drive in through your own private driveway with views of the pond! Then enter via the separate entryway (apartment is attached to the main residence) into the kitchenette and living area with a futon (full size, not queen) and dining table, plus tons of board games to keep you busy during your stay. Continue to your full bath and lovely bedroom with a queen bed and tons of books! Kitchenette comes stocked with Keurig and coffee supplies, mini fridge with bottled water, portable cooktop and accompanying cookware and utensils, plus cutting board and knife block. Dishes, glasses, and flatware available as well! A full bathroom is in the hallway and easily accessible to both the apartment bedroom and the futon in the living room. It has plenty of towels, great lighting on the large mirror, and provided toiletries. The apartment bedroom features a queen bed and large bookshelf full of all sorts of books!! A large TV is also in the bedroom with a Roku to access streaming services through the provided Wifi. Bedroom also includes a bench, plus a closet with hangers and storage drawers. Take a walk outside to enjoy the firepit and outdoor seating area as you look out over the front yard pond and enjoy the quiet country life. There is a firepit, with wood supplied, and a propane BBQ grill. In addition to lots of local activities and scenery in Chattanooga, Chickamauga, and all over - this residence has farm animals and large gardens to explore right on site. Guest access Access from the separate side porch entrance. There are four steps to access the porch. The apartment is completely closed off from the main house. Other things to note We are a couple of faith in Jesus Christ, and would enjoy sharing our home and mini farm with you. We live full time here on the property. I am retired, so spend most of my time with the animals, gardens and property. We're sorry, but no pets are allowed. We will afford you as much privacy as you would like, but are here if you have any questions or need anything. You may catch and release from pond. Bass and brim about eight inches in length so far. We are very close to many outdoor activities such as Cloudland Canyon State Park, The Pocket, Rocktown for rock climbing, Blue Hole, Ellison's Cave, Chickamauga Battlefield and Wilder Tower (Very fun to climb and get an overview of the battlefield) Downtown Chickamauga, Lookout Mountain Flight Park hang gliding. These are all within a 15 to 20 minute drive. We are five miles down the street from the Kensington Rodeo. Many activities happen at the Cove Resort, just 20 minutes away, like The Bluegrass Festival, disc golf tournaments, art fairs, etc. Downtown Chattanooga, Point Park, Walnut Street walking bridge, Coolidge Park, Tennessee Aquarium, Discovery Museum, Ruby Falls, Rock City, are all within a 35 to 40 minute drive. Grill is attached to the fire pit and wood is supplied. There is also a BBQ grill with propane supplied. There is electric fence for horses and sheep. Please DO NOT touch.
