Newly renovated, this former country house with all the comforts of 60 m² welcomes you for your getaways, vacations in the countryside, retreat and teleworking in the countryside or work in the region. Le Cocon offers two comfortable bedrooms, a living room-kitchen open to a green terrace and overlooking the Parc des Fontaines, consisting of a rose garden, a plant maze, a pond and forests. Domaine des Fontaines offers three gites, including "Le Cocon", a comfortable house, nestled in a small hamlet of four houses. Once a living space for several generations of families, now open to all for a break, a vacation, a moment of rest. --- THE COTTAGE "LE COCOON" Recently renovated, this charming 60m² country house is the perfect place for your countryside getaways, holidays, green retreats, or even remote work. Capacity: Ideal for 4 people, possibility to accommodate up to 6 people (including children) upon request. Composition: • 2 comfortable bedrooms – 1 on the ground floor, 1 upstairs. • An open kitchen lounge leading onto a private and plant terrace near the Parc des Fontaines • Bathroom with small bathtub • Separate Toilets • Private Green Terrace ---------------------------------------- CHARM OF THE YEAR, MODERN COMFORT We wanted this house as a mix of old and modern. You will find the remains of the past, like its original tiles and its old fireplace, which once housed a wood-burning oven, which now serves as a passage to the master suite. But the house has of course the comfort of a modern house, with its fully equipped kitchen, TV area and WiFi access, 500Mbps fiber internet. With the Google TV set-top box, you can access your favorite streaming apps and traditional channels. Kitchen: - Gas plates - Oven and microwave - Filter coffee maker - Electric kettle - Dishwasher. - Fridge with small freezer compartment Bedroom 1 (ground floor): • Hotel-grade 160cm bed • Office facing the garden • Anjou books Bedroom 2 (floor): • Two 80x200 beds (convertible into a 160x200 bed on request) • Board game selection • Toys for young children • Note: Bedroom #2 does not have a door that insulates the living room stairs (so no sound insulation between upstairs bedroom and living room). Logs are available without restriction. • Summer: On sunny days, you will enjoy your private terrace to read or eat quietly, away from all traffic, in the tranquility of an unspoiled countryside, overlooking the rose garden. ---------------------------------------- A LANDSCAPED PARK FOR YOUR RELAXING MOMENTS Le Cocon is located within the Parc des Fontaines, which offers many possibilities for relaxation: • Roseraie des Fontaines: You will have a view of the Roseraie des Fontaines (composed of more than 1000 roses) to which you of course have access for moments of colorful contemplation (flowered from June to September). • Walk through the 2 hectares of private forest. • Vegetable labyrinth: for children and adventure lovers. ---------------------------------------- PETS ALLOWED Pets are allowed (except category 1 and 2 dogs), with a surcharge. Please declare them during the reservation. Conditions: Pets must be under constant supervision and can not be left in the house alone. ---------------------------------------- A GREAT PLACE FOR A GREEN BREAK Domaine des Fontaines is the perfect place for a nature stay, whether to discover the region, to work remotely from the hustle and bustle of the city, or just to rest with the family.
