Guest access Exclusive use of your bedroom and adjacent bathroom and main door to apartment. Dining and sitting rooms are available during meals and while chatting with your affable host :) Use of fridge, freezer, washing machine and drier can be arranged. During your stay Some visitors love to meet and chat to a local, some like to explore alone. Some have no plans, some have everything arranged. I enjoy socialising with guests or giving you space, depending on your preference (and my availability of course). Whichever you choose, I'm always delighted to answer your questions or give you recommendations and suggestions for planning your trip to Dublin or Ireland as a whole. I also offer the option of full day excursions to Kilkenny or Belfast (by Train) and Dublin or the Wicklow Mountains (by car) as well as half day excursions in Dublin (walking or by car). Delicious home cooked traditional evening meals can also be arranged (think smoked salmon on traditional brown soda bread, slow cooked shank of Wicklow lamb, strawberry pavlova....) A complimentary G&T or Irish Coffee is the perfect end to an afternoon exploring. You can perhaps join your hosts (yes, Roco too!!!) at some of the superb local bars, and if you're here on a Sunday afternoon or a Tuesday evening, you might get the opportunity to join your host who plays at a traditional music seasion in the nearby Brazen Head (oldest pub in Dublin!) I'm happy to be contacted by phone, text or email to answer any queries :) Other things to note Most Dublin sights are in easy walking distance, but for those who want to go further (or take it easy!), the Luas Red Line tram stops outside the gate. Two stops will bring you to Heuston Station for mainline trains heading West, while 4 stops in the other direction will bring you to Bus Áras (for national buses), and one more stop to Connolly Station for mainline trains North/South. The nearest Dublin Bike stand is a 5 minute walk, and you can cycle to the nearest beach in 20 minutes.
