Sejerø Hostel - The entire building

Get together with the whole family or friends and take them to Sejerø and enjoy the well-designed old building on scenic and quiet Sejerø. The hostel is fully furnished with 8 lovely bedrooms, delicious duvets and pillows. Enjoy the island's unique nature and hike along the open stands on the hilly island. Take a trip on the golf course that is open most of the year, play mini golf, collect amber, or explore the wild peacocks and countless hares that live on the island. Bed linens can be ordered for an additional fee. The space Sejerø Hostel is located in the center of Sejerby less than 500m from the harbour and 300m from shopping in Daglig Brugsen. The hostel's rooms are hotel standard, but without a private bath. The hostel is uniquely decorated in old style and is worth an experience in itself. In high summer, the hostel is used for room rental, but is also rented for larger events (the entire building). The hostel has previously been a mission hotel and later elderly home for the island's old. Since the 80s, the building has been used as a hostel focused on renting a single bunk. The building is then renovated in 2019. Sejerø is 11 kilometers long and is located in Sejerøbugten in Kattegat about 5 kilometers west of Zealand. The island is 1,700 meters in the widest location and is 12.5 square kilometers. About half of the approximately 350 inhabitants live in Sejerby. There is a ferry connection to Havnsø. Sejerø has some of the country's finest beaches and has one-of-a-kind wildlife. Among other things, wild peacocks live on the island. On the island there is the opportunity to play golf on the beautiful 9 hole course, Sejerø Golf, overlooking the whole island, and there is mini golf for the whole family in Sejerø mini golf. The island is set up for relaxation, swimming and hiking, and trips to both Sejerø lighthouse, Sejerø Church, Kongshøy (the island's highest point) and Sejerø southern tip are worth a visit. There are several options for dining on the island, including at Cafe Sejerø in Havnen, Sejerøhuset in the marina, Sejerø mini golf and at Sejerø Camping. All within walking distance of Sejerø Hostel. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property except for one private room.
