Adventure Haus - A-Frame Cabin with Mountain Views

Welcome to the Adventure Haus- a two bedroom, two bath cabin located just outside of South Fork close to ATV trails, the Rio Grande River, and Wolf Creek Ski Area. This cabin has been designed to be your basecamp for adventure. Between the 4 decks attached to the cabin, log porch swing, and fire pit area with Adirondack Chairs, you will have no trouble finding a proper place to relax. You will also have access to the detached garage to safely store your gear out of the elements. The space Enter the cabin from the sunny west facing deck with Webber grill, Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. On the first floor is a fully stocked kitchen with quality cookware and a wide variety of spices. The kitchen/living room features a propane fireplace, pull out couch, folding dining table, and a variety of games. A queen bedroom with a smart TV and full bathroom are also on the first floor. Take the spiral staircase up to the second floor with a full bathroom, king bed, workspace with a monitor and keyboard, and a deck for taking in the views. Take another spiral staircase to the third floor game lounge. Here you'll find a pair of lounge chairs, Super Nintendo, twin air mattress, and deck on each side. Outside spaces include a log swing facing the mountains and secluded fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The garage is great for storing bikes, skis, four wheelers or small cars. Guest access You have access to the whole house along with the garage. Other things to note 1/2 mile from the County Rd 19 takeout off the Rio Grande. Perfect place to end a float. We have put together an extensive guidebook of local trails and pointers to ensure your adventure in South Fork is top notch. The Haus comfortably fits 4 people. Due to county regulations we cannot exceed 4 guests. This cabin is unique in many ways- one being a narrow (18”) door to the bathroom, and spiral staircases with low ceiling height. This could be a challenge if your mobility is limited. Please consider this before booking. Like most homes in the area, the cabin does not have A/C. We provide fans in each room, and the windows can be opened for a nice mountain breeze.
