This 60 m2 house in the heart of the small village of Lumbin, nestled at the foot of the Chartreuse massif, combines traditional authenticity and modern comfort for 5 to 6 people. Located on a quiet street, it guarantees tranquility, while being close to the shops and services of the village. It is the perfect base for combining rest, cultural discoveries and sports activities (cycling, skiing, paragliding, hiking, wakeboarding, motorbiking...) with family or friends. LGBTQI+ friendly The space The house is fully equipped with linens (sheets, towels...) provided! Sleeping: two bedrooms (one double bed of 160 cm, one bed of 120 cm) and a double sofa bed in the living room. Connection: high-speed fiber optic, ideal for teleworking or streaming Access: car or via bus from Grenoble or Chambéry. Garage: enclosed garage available upon request, perfect for motorcycles, bicycles or car. Equipped kitchen: oven, glass cooktop, microwave, coffee machine, raclette machine! Cozy living room: exposed beams, books, TV and comfortable sofa. Bathroom: spacious with shower and toilet. Guest access The entire house is reserved for guests. Access by car (garage available on request for motorcycle/bicycle/car). Access by bus from Grenoble and Chambery. Feel free to ask for information! Other things to note Activities and surroundings: Typical village: Sainte-Marie-Madeleine church, 19th century stone washhouse and fountain, combining heritage and bucolic charm. Shops nearby: supermarket (fresh bread every morning and postal service), hairdresser and local restaurants. Bicycle & greenways: Grésivaudan bike path along the Isère, crossing fields and meadows overlooking Belledonne, Chartreuse and Vercors. Wakeboarding & water sports: Exo 38 in Tencin (cable park 5 pylons and artificial surf), accessible by bike. Access to the nautical bases and the leisure park of La Terrasse 5 km away, perfect for children! Historical heritage: The Dauphiné region, former border with the Duchy and then Kingdom of Savoy, is full of places steeped in history. A stone's throw from the house, the ruins of Fort Montfort are within walking distance for a bucolic walk. The Château du Touvet and Fort Barraux can be visited in season, easily accessible by car or bike. And this is just the beginning: the whole valley is full of remarkable sites to explore! Motorcycle departures: my favorite routes are the Chartreuse via the Col de Porte and the Col du Granier (stop to visit the monastery of the Grande Chartreuse!), the Balcons de Belledonne road with its small mountain village chapel, and the spectacular roads of the Vercors through the Écouges tunnel or the Pont-en-Royans gorges. Paragliding & free flight: take off from the Lumbin area, RTT Paragliding and Air-2-Ailes schools for first flights and courses. Hiking: many marked trails in the Chartreuse mountains accessible from the surroundings of Lumbin. Walks for all levels, on foot or snowshoeing, in the heart of preserved natural landscapes. Alpine & Nordic skiing: nearby resorts accessible by car or seasonal shuttle: Col de Porte, Col du Marcieu (Chartreuse), Sept-Laux and Prapoutel (Belledonne).
