Village house at the foot of the mountain

This house of 60 m2 in the heart of the small village of Lumbin, nestled at the foot of the Chartreuse massif, combines traditional authenticity and modern comfort for 5 to 6 people. Located on a quiet street, it guarantees tranquility, while being close to shops and services in the village. It is the ideal starting point to combine rest, cultural discoveries and sports activities (bike, ski, paragliding, hiking, wakeboarding, motorbike...) with family or friends. LGBTQI+ friendly The space The house is fully equipped with linens (sheets, towels...) provided! Sleeping arrangements: two bedrooms (a double bed in 160 cm, a bed in 120 cm) and a double sofa bed in the living room. Connection: Fast Fibre Optic, Great for Remote Work or Streaming Access: car or bus from Grenoble or Chambéry. Garage: Closed box available on request, perfect for motorcycles, bikes or car. Equipped kitchen: oven, vitro hob, microwave, coffee machine, raclette machine! Warm living room: exposed beams, books, TV and comfortable sofa. Bathroom: Spacious with shower and toilet. Guest access The entire house is for the guests only. Access by car (garage available on request for motorcycle/bicycle/car). Bus access from Grenoble and Chambéry. Feel free to ask for information! Other things to note Activities and surroundings: Typical village: Sainte-Marie-Madeleine church, 19th century stone washhouse and fountain, combining heritage and bucolic charm. Shops nearby: convenience store (fresh bread every morning and postal service), hairdresser and local restaurants. Bike & greenways: Grésivaudan converted bike path along the Isère, crossing fields and meadows with views of Belledonne, Chartreuse and Vercors. Wakeboarding & water sports: Exo 38 in Tencin (5 pylons cable park and artificial surfing), accessible by bike. Access to the nautical bases and La Terrasse leisure park 5 km away, perfect for children! Historical heritage: The Dauphiné region, old border with the duchy then Kingdom of Savoy, is full of places full of history. A stone's throw from the house, the ruins of Fort du Montfort are within walking distance for a bucolic walk. Château du Touvet and Fort Barraux can be visited in season, easily accessible by car or bike. And this is just the beginning: the whole valley is full of remarkable sights to explore! Motorbike departures: my favorite routes are the Chartreuse via the Col de Porte and the Col du Granier (stop visiting the Monastery of the Grande Chartreuse!), the Route des Balcons de Belledonne with its chapel of small mountain village, and the spectacular roads of Vercors through the Tunnel des Écouges or the Gorges de Pont-en-Royans. Paragliding & free flight: takeoff from the Lumbin area, RTT Parapente and Air-2-Ailes schools for baptisms and internships. Hiking: many marked trails in the Chartreuse massif accessible from the surroundings of Lumbin. Walks for all levels, on foot or snowshoe, in the heart of unspoiled natural landscapes. Alpine & Nordic skiing: nearby resorts accessible by car or seasonal shuttle: Col de Porte, Col du Marcieu (Chartreuse), Sept-Laux and Prapoutel (Belledonne).
